The Goddard School

Goddard has been a wonderful environment to help both my 5 year old (has moved onto Kindergarten) and 15 month old thrive. The teachers and staff are warm and welcoming and extremely leaned in on making sure kids are getting the support needed to grow and learn. We appreciate the flexibility when we needed care for our older daughter over the summer without school!

We absolutely loved our experience at Goddard. From the moment we enrolled our son, we felt so welcomed and confident that he was in the best hands. The teachers and staff are incredible. We are so grateful for all of the wonderful memories, friendships, and experiences he had here. Goddard will always hold a very special place in our hearts, and we couldn't recommend it more highly!

From the day to day instruction of the students to the week in and week out care that was provided, the school was incredible in so many ways. We learned aboit so many topics and were challenged to grow in many ways as a student and participating family that has set up an amazing baseline for learning and the desire to pursue knowledge throughout our life. We are incredibly grateful for everything that was provided to us by the teachers and staff from day 1 and could not speak more highly of our experiences.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about The Goddard School in Lincoln Park! Our daughter attended from 6 months to 4.5 years, and our son started at just 11 weeks and stayed until nearly 2 years old. The only reason we left was because our family moved to Denver—otherwise, our kids would have stayed for years to come. As two busy working parents, finding such an incredible, reliable community meant the world to us.

The directors and administrators are everything you could want in a leadership team, and the curriculum and community events are fantastic. But the absolute best part of Goddard is the people:

Infants: Faye and Maria in the infant classroom truly love babies, and it shows in everything they do. As a new mom at the time, I learned so many valuable tips from Faye!

Toddlers: Lola, Chloe, Viri, Brianna, and Nova are literal angels....

Our time at Goddard was truly exceptional, and we miss it already. We recently relocated out of state and, unfortunately, had to leave Goddard behind. If there was one thing we could have taken with us, it would have been Goddard.

The entire staff is incredible. A special thank you to Ms. Tiera, Ms. Ashley, Ms. Katie, Ms. Nicole, Ms. Aaren, Ms. Harriet, and Teacher Francis for the love, kindness, and dedication they showed our son every single day.

As a mom, there is nothing more important than knowing your child is safe, loved, and genuinely cared for. Goddard gave us that peace of mind from day one. Every afternoon, it was obvious that our son had spent the day having fun, building relationships with his teachers and classmates, and learning so much along the way.

My child has been at Goddard since the summer and we are getting ready to leave to go to a new school that is closer to our new house, and we are heartbroken. The staff and teachers at Goddard so deeply care for her, and I have seen her grow both socially and intellectually in really incredible ways. The teachers have been curious about her and her needs, and I feel like she wakes up looking forward to attending. Everyone there knows her, and admin has been really accommodating and helpful when they didn’t need to be.

I was very picky and did a lot of visiting and research before I chose Goddard—I chose them because I love the private playground and community activities. But the school itself has been a really big blessing to my kiddo, and I have seen her explode in confidence, language, and social skills. I am very sad to be leaving.

Fantastic experience at Goddard! Goddard’s focus on education first helped my daughter grow and advance. Our daughter started at 6 months and the whole team helped support her through the various transitions i.e. learning to walk, eating solids, transition to one nap. The team always made recommendations for her development and worked with us when we had a special request like focusing on sharing. The staff is really dedicated to each kid and makes a personal investment in each student. Love the entire team!

We had a wonderful experience at the Goddard school. When our previous daycare closed and left us scrambling to find a new place, Jason made time on a Saturday to give us a tour. That was indicative of the school as a whole – everyone is kind, attentive, and caring. Our son learned so much while he was there it was sometimes hard to keep up! Most importantly, our minds were completely at ease knowing he had such a safe, nurturing place to go to every day. He loved all of his teachers and made great friends.

We just moved to the suburbs, and of all the city things we’re sad to leave behind, Goddard is at the top of the list. We will miss it, but we’re so grateful we were part of the Goddard family while we were here!

We love Goddard! Our son is happy and in excellent hands - we’re so glad we found them and hope to continue our journey with them with our second child too.

Love Goddard—Jason and the team are fantastic.

Our son has been here since 15 months old, and the switch from our previous daycare (great teachers, poor management) was the best decision. Jason is an outstanding manager who hires great staff and quickly addresses any concerns.

I also love how Goddard helps build their community - they host regular events like school dances, anniversary parties, and classroom parties for every holiday.

We're big fans and so happy our kid is thriving here!

We love Goddard! Our toddler has made huge developmental milestones during her time here. Big shoutout to the Panda classroom and Miss Lauren and Nova for being phenomenal teachers!

We loved Goddard Lincoln Park so much! The staff and teachers are incredible and took such wonderful care of our daughter. We were very sad when we moved away! There are not enough good things to say about this school and will continue to recommend this location to everyone we know!

We’ve been very lucky to send both our daughters to Goddard School and have loved the experience. The teachers and kind, thoughtful and engaged. I’m always impressed with the creative curriculum in the classroom. Our kids have always felt safe and well cared for, and love their teachers and friends. The directors are present and active and greet us every morning and evening. I know they will answer any question I have. This is a fantastic school that I would 100% recommend.

We love Goddard so much! My son who is eight went through the program and I now have a three year-old daughter that is going through the program. The attention and care my children have received is second to none. Everything about Goddard feels like home. I have zero worries everyday when my child is at school, which is such peace of mind for a mom. Thank you, Goddard, for being a safe place!!♥️

We are extremely happy with the teachers and staff at Goddard. My son has really been thriving and I think a big piece of that is his school environment. We are extremely appreciative.

Great school - great teachers - nuturing environment. Bottom line - my child is very happy, learning and is excited to go to Goddard most days.

My daughter has enjoyed her time at Goddard this past school year. It was her first time in a daycare/school setting and she has really grown in her speech and socialization skills.

We love that she has had the same teachers the entire first school year (no high turnover in staff). My daughter can be slow to warm up to new people, and the consistency really helps her.

One thing that I was initially looking for in a school was that she’d stay on campus the entire time (no walking on city streets to parks). I love that this school has their own private playground!

However, after touring other places, the one thing that truly stood out at Goddard was the pride in their staff. I had to ask about staffing credentials at other schools, and they were often vague. At Goddard I was immediately told about their high standards for their teachers, and it was...

We can't say enough good things about The Goddard School in Lincoln Park! All of our children have gone through their program, and we've been consistently impressed with the care, attention, and genuine love they show every child. The staff is nurturing, professional, and incredibly dedicated. Each of our kids thrived there, not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. The activities are engaging and educational, the environment is safe and welcoming, and communication with parents is always clear and supportive. It's a wonderful feeling to drop your child off each day knowing they are in such good hands. We're so grateful for the role this school has played in our family's life and I wholeheartedly recommend it to others.
