Accent Windows

Please read the entire review. First, the business owner, Jim, is a great guy, and the business is excellent. They stand by their promise that if you have any issues with windows, they will be out to fix them asap. I wish the installer could have been better (which no longer works there). The installer did the worst job ever. They were supposed to work in teams, and just one guy showed up and looked like he was high as a kite and drinking on the job. Jim told us they would only do one window at a time. He Took out all my windows when it was 40 degrees outside and windy. The installer didn't caulk around the windows; it rained that night. All of a sudden, I heard a drip, and I looked where the drip was coming from. I found that the top of the window ceiling was full of water. If it formed a big bubble, then it popped, then all the drywall came down.
See pictures. Come to find out that the installer never sealed anything up on the outside part of the window. I texted Jim, the owner, who said they would send someone out to fix it. The gentleman who showed up was from a different company. The guy told me that the windows were installed incorrectly because they were supposed to have a j channel around all the windows for water runoff, and they were also supposed to be caulked. My sliding back door never closed properly because of adjustments that were never made when they first installed it. When I asked the original installer, he said that's how it should be. The guys from the other window company fixed most of the issues.
We got our windows in March 2024. Fast Forward to now, Dec 15, 2024. My wife said it's really cold in our living room. I went and inspected our patio sliding door, and low and behold, the trimming glue came undun and you could feel the wind blow right through from the outside. There is a gap of 1/4-1/2 inch between the house frame and the frame of the patio door window, which I can see right to the outside. Everything eventually got fixed at the beginning of June. I called Dec 16 to have them come out and fix the sliding door issue. They will be here Dec 17 to repair all my problems. Accent Windows stands by its promise to fix and repair anything that goes wrong. You can buy it with confidence. I would recommend them to anyone.
