The Goddard School

We absolutely love the Goddard School on Hammond Drive. The teachers and office staff are so kind. They provide the utmost level of care, and we couldn’t be more appreciative of all they do!

Our daughter has been enrolled since April of 2025, right after she turned one year old. We were VERY hesitant to enroll her into any school, just like any other new parents we had doubts and fears and so many questions. We toured numerous schools. However, this school felt right. From her very first day, we have felt nothing short of love towards her. It makes us feel like she’s part of an extended family when everyone knows her name. She came into the school knowing a good bit for her age and speaking well. After a few days I noticed she was expanding on those things as well as adding more and more to her vocabulary. It means a lot to me that they encourage alone time with books as well as reading out loud with the teacher. She has a wide range of books at home and when she comes in from school she’s usually able to find the books they focused on in school and she’ll bring them to...

My son has been there for about 4 years and I can’t say more amazing things about The Goddard School - Hammond Drive! Everyone in the front office, all the teachers, and Mr. Jay have made us feel like family. Their communication is incredible and I feel like we are always working as a team to help my son reach his highest potential. He has learned so much while being there and it was done through a great curriculum while also having fun and creating such wonderful friendships/relationships with teachers. Not to mention, all the extra things the school has always done to make him feel comfortable when drop-offs were hard. I couldn’t recommend it more!

My daughter attended Goddard from the time she was about 5 months to 20 months old, and I cannot recommend them enough. We were so sad to leave after a move to Alpharetta, and we miss them every single day!
Every morning we walked in, the staff said good morning to my daughter by name and everyone is always so friendly.
My daughter is very slow to warm, but all the teachers at Goddard went out of their way to make her feel welcome.

We have had kids at Goddard for about 2.5 years now. Both of our kids have attended and have been through most of the classes at this point. We have had consistently excellent interactions and experience with everyone including teachers, staff and administration. Our kids love their classes and teachers. We are impressed by the curriculum and our oldest was more than prepared for kindergarten after Goddard pre-k.

We have had our kids there for 5 years and have enjoyed it. The facility is clean, the front desk ladies who work there are all nice and do a great job handling everything that goes into organizing a childcare facility. The teachers are amazing and have become our go to babysitters

Fantastic daycare that my daughter loves going to each day. The entire staff is and always has been beyond caring, and we feel so comfortable sending our child there!

I cannot say enough great things about The Goddard School - Hammond Drive! There is nothing more assuring than being able to leave our little one in the hands of caregivers who genuinely love and care for him. They are constantly doing fun, engaging activities and my son loves going to school to see his sweet friends and wonderful teachers. Highly recommend this amazing daycare!

The teachers really care about all students as well as the administrators - they check in on students when they are sick etc. the facility is very clean and teachers and sanitary.

The Goddard School of Sandy Springs at Hammond Drive is a wonderful place to send your kids. The teachers are warm and caring, and you will feel like your kids are well cared for. We appreciate this school enough to justify battling the Johnson Ferry Road morning commute from East Cobb. This alone should mean more than a five star review. Our child has really blossomed over the past year since enrolling. I attribute so much of her socioemotional development to the warm and engaging teachers she’s had since our time at Goddard Sandy Springs. Every staff member welcomes my daughter by name each morning and there’s always a holiday theme and/or activity to get excited about as we’re walking in. Her teachers were great about asking permission to give food/snacks on special occasions which eased our anxieties about food allergies. They even provided a list of upcoming classroom birthdays where I could ensure my child had a dessert to not feel excluded. I can’t say enough positive things about this location and the staff. Highly recommend!

This is my 3rd kid in daycare, but my first at Goddard. I wish I had found it sooner! My kid is happy and looks forward to seeing her teachers and friends everyday. The teachers also seem happy and valued by leadership. I love that many of them speak Spanish - so great for the kids’ growing brains to be exposed to multiple languages.
