The Goddard School

My son had an incredible experience during his time at The Goddard School. We are very grateful for the supporting environment that it presented for him and would highly recommend to anyone needing a program for their pre-kindergartener to allow for earlier opportunities to build routine, socialize with peers, and practice being in a school-like setting.

As first-time daycare parents, choosing where to leave our son was one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever made. Handing your baby to someone else for the first time requires an incredible amount of trust, and from the moment we joined Goddard Hickory Flat, that trust was earned.

Our son started here in June 2025, and tomorrow is his last day as we transition to a school closer to our new home. Leaving is bittersweet because this school has been such a meaningful part of our family’s journey.

Ms. Charlene has been nothing short of a gift from God. She was our son’s very first caregiver outside of our family, and I truly cannot imagine a better person to have filled that role. My oldest son enrolled in Goddard in August of 2023. I had concerns because of his special needs. My oldest some began in the one year old classroom and will be transitioning to Pre-K. I cannot say enough GREAT things about all of his teachers. He has learned so much and has grown emotionally, socially, and cognitively. Our second son was born in October 2024 and started the infant room in January 2025z I never worry about leaving our boys as I know our boys are being well taken care of and learning. The administrators are always willing to help and are communicative. Wouldn’t have my boys anywhere else.

After a terrible experience at another local daycare, Goddard has been a breath of fresh air. Their teachers are wonderful, my son learns so much, and has the best time with all the fun activities they host.

My son has been attending the Goddard School in Hickory Flat for almost a year now. I toured a few daycares before I settled on this one because from the moment I stepped into the school, I felt a peace and reassurance that I didn't feel at the other places and I knew that my child would be in good hands.The level of quality, care, and attention that he receives from his teachers and from the staff are top notch. My son is excited to go to class every day and he has flourished socially and academically. He has made so many friends and he continues to surprise me with his growth and achievements. We love the Goddard School! Highly recommend sending your children here, you won't be disappointed.

We came from a different Goddard that was a bit further away. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Everything is how we wished it to be. Our son loves it and the staff all seem to be happy to be there which is important to me.

Friendly staff that is always attentive. My son LOVES it here. Last place he was at he would hold on to my leg when I dropped him off but here, he feels a lot more comfortable and he’s excited to be there!

In 2022, we toured The Goddard School at Hickory Flat on a long list of potential daycares for our incoming newborn as first time parents. And luckily, we knew when we stepped in that this would be the place for him. 4 years later and my newborn son is 4 and about to attend Pre-K at Goddard! And his little sister isn't so far behind him in the 2 year old room. What sets Goddard a part is the great curriculum, the CLEAN atmosphere, and the happy teachers. Coming out of the pandemic, all of these things were important to us. Ms. Mar, Ms. Laurel and Ms. Sydney are amazing! Ms. Dionne is a baby whisperer and it's always nice to have her on the swing staff. The front desk is SO organized and helpful because of Ms. Jenna, Erica, and Kayla. No other program can compare with Goddard!

So lucky to have Goddard in HFlat! As a SAHM transitioning back into the workforce, i had so many hesitations. The care at Goddard has been above and beyond and that is priceless! Love our teachers ❤️

We LOVE the Goddard School! The kids have so much fun and truly enjoy their time here so much that they don’t want to go home! We appreciate how helpful everyone is at the front office and how organized each day is filled with exciting and learning activities for both our kiddos!

We have had both of our daughters at Goddard for a total of seven years. The administration and teachers are second to none. I wouldn’t trust my girls’ safety or education anywhere else. They are beyond prepared for elementary school, not only academically, but also socially. I’m so thankful for all of the care and love the school has provided our family. We will truly miss everyone here, but look forward to spending our summers at the summer camp they provide. Hands down, best decision we could have made for our girls.

Our experience at the Goddard School Hickory Flat was absolutely wonderful. The infant classroom teachers were exceptional and always went above and beyond. We would highly recommend!

I gave the Goddard School a perfect score because my daughter loves her school. She loves all of her teachers and they have taught her so much. I will be sad when she graduates Pre-K this year. We will miss The Goddard School and their super friendly and helpful staff in the front as well. I highly recommend!

Goddard school has been wonderful for my new born. The teachers are great and always in a good mood. It is just nice to know that our daughter is well cared for by a daycare and staff that you can trust.

We love the Goddard School. My son has been there for four year, my daugter just started this yea and we have never had a bad experience. They has learned so much and just continues the grow. Every single teacher takes the time to get to know your child, even if they are not in their classroom yet- and the relationships stays after they leave their classroom. Such an amazing feeling knowing your child is in great hands when you drop them off for the day!

Love this little safe place for my baby. Teachers are loving and caring and I feel good knowing my baby is in good hands while I am working
