The Goddard School

We love Goddard Hickory Flat! Our daughter has thrived since starting last August. She has truly gained so much developmentally with her vocabulary, walking, learning numbers, ABCs, identifying objects, and the list goes on. Another thing to point out is no turnover since we have started. I know seeing the same faces everyday is extremely important for us as parents and especially for our daughter to feel safe and loved. We love it here and highly recommend this location!

I’ve had great experiences with the school and the teachers. Very thankful for how communicative they are with my child and how they are doing. It feels very personalized. I love so many of the sweet teachers.

My child has learned so much since attending Goddard Hicry Flat (social skills, potty training, ABCs, letters, songs, and a wide range of topics across STEAM, Art, you name it), runs happily into the classroom, and is always talking at home about his teachers and friends at school or what he's learned. The entire staff at the school is so caring, and in the year and a half we've attended, there has been next to no turnover (something we've experienced in other daycares), which is a testament to how the school takes care of their staff as well as ensures consistency for the kids. We also appreciate the additional events/activities Goddard offers to garner community, like their Halloween Trunk or Treat or bringing in Soccer Shots as an option to the kids.

Our two-year-old daughter absolutely loves The Goddard School! She’s always excited to go. The staff is caring, attentive, and truly invested in her growth and happiness. We’ve seen so much development in her social skills, vocabulary, and confidence since starting here. It’s such a relief knowing she’s in a nurturing and engaging environment every day. Highly recommend!

Our little boy has had an amazing experience at The Goddard School at Hickory Flat! He started in their Pre-School program and it currently attending Pre-Kindergarten. He absolutely loves the teachers and we have been blown away by the amount he has learned in the past year. They keep learning interactive, fun and utilize a wide variety of topics around the world. We cannot recommend them enough!

The dedication to learning and growing up these children is life changing. You can't put a price on giving them a good foundation. My son feels confident and looks forward to seeing his friends and teachers everyday.

This is such a great preschool! They have friendly staff, clean classrooms, a secure environment, structured educational play, and really foster a sense of community!

We have had our 2 kids in Goddard Schools over a 6 year period, both in from 2 years old through Pre-K. Our kids have been at this location for just about 3 years. This staff is incredibly dedicated to our children’s development, creates a great and fun learning environment for them and most importantly keeps them safe. Moreover, the owner has invested a ton of resources into facility and technology upgrades from every facet of the building security, playgrounds, aesthetics, furniture, technology etc. You never feel like your money is not being reinvested to the facility. They are receptive to parental feedback and provide educational updates along the way. If we had to do it over again we wouldn’t think twice about joining this Goddard School again.

My wife and I have really enjoyed this school with both of our children. There have been so many amazing teachers and the enrichment for the kids has been incredible. The owners are very involved and constantly making upgrades to the facility. There are so many extra things that Pinki sets up for the kids around the holidays and around sports. We looked at all the other options and are very happy our kids have attended this school.

We love having our son at Goddard Hickory Flat! The staff and management are amazing! My son is in Ms. Mendy's class and he absolutely adores her! She has been great communicating his needs and progress with us! We plan on keeping him at Goddard until we can't anymore ❤️

We are incredibly happy with the education and care our children receive at The Goddard School. The teachers are truly the heartbeat of the school: I feel like they genuinely care for my children. In addition to teaching them and taking care of their physical needs, I know they are also comforted and held and supported. This is crucial to their emotional development, and it seems to be a priority here. I’ve seen my children thrive since enrolling over a year ago. It is truly a superior experience to allow your children the opportunity to attend here.

We love the Goddard School. My son has been there for two and a half years and we have never had a bad experience. He has learned so much and just continues the grow. Every single teacher takes the time to get to know your child, even if they are not in their classroom yet- and the relationships stays after they leave their classroom. Such an amazing feeling knowing your child is in great hands when you drop them off for the day!

We love Goddard! Our daughter has been there for two years and it is the best decision. She was previously at another local daycare and we were not impressed. But at Goddard the staff and teachers are always taking there time to explain and care.

Wonderful Director and teachers! They always keep us up to date with daily photos and reports as well as newsletters of the happenings around the school. They host a lot of great family events through the year to stay connected to the school and other families!

The staff is welcoming, the teachers are great. Most importantly, I know my kids are safe and well taken care of. We’ve been at Goddard since 2017!

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to place our son with Goddard @ HF. From the teachers, to the admin staff - everyone is amazing. Love their family events and how much they like to get the parents involved.

We've been at the Goddard School for almost a year and my two children love it. We were nervous with the transition from a Nanny to full-time school but the teachers made the transition easy and I know my babies are loved and cared for everyday. Goddard offers multiple opportunities for children to participate in fun activities inside the school as well as OT, that Parents may be too busy to have the time to take their kids too.

Our son was at another daycare center and was struggling with bad behaviors to the point he would need to be sent home. He was directly being impacted by high teacher turnover and mismanagement of the center. Since starting at Goddard 3 months ago, he’s done a complete 180. We 100% attribute that to the amazing staff, the engaging curriculum and the genuine love and concern they have for children here. He’s given activities to do that keep his mind active and busy, the class size is small and the environment is bright, open and welcoming! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking.

My daughter has been attending this school for a little over a year, and she LOVES IT. She is always excited to go to school. She has grown so much socially and academically. She is especially fond of Mrs. Shaila :)

My kids loves this school and wants to go to school everyday. Front office staff and Teachers are soo good. They always listen to me. As a Mom I want nothing but my kids happiness which I see them going to school happily 😊

We love this Goddard school! We’ve had one child there for two and a half years and have nothing but great things to say. We know his teachers make sure he is loved, well taken care of, and learning a ton during his day. Pinki and the amazing team up front always greet you with a smile and certainly love on the kiddos too. The activities and theme days they plan are fun and engaging too. It’s not easy dropping your child off at daycare, but they certainly provide the best comfort possible.

My son enrolled in Goddard in August of 2023. I had concerns because of his special needs. Mrs. Dionne and Mrs. Laurel in the one year old class exceeded my expectations of the level of care they have provided my son. My son has made so much progress socially, emotionally, and overall developmentally. They will be missed has he moves up to the next age class.

We love Goddard! My child has been attending for about a year and a half now. We love the school so much as everyone from the owner, director, and staff are very engaging. They have lots of fun activities for the kids and Get the parents involved. They have had a magician come visit, firemen, policemen and police dog. Always excited to see our friends!
