Amazing, caring staff and facility. Best decision I've made for my mental health. Short stays at hospital psychiatric units are good for stabilization of severe mental illness symptoms, but never gets to the roots of the problems. MRC provides several modes of therapy daily, exposing each resident to the possibilities available for help. There is something for everyone struggling with mental health. The knowledge and care I received there was top notch. There are many freedoms given, so it doesn't feel like you're locked away, like many places. The food is amazing and even the staff that serves meals are friendly and caring. There are so few long-term mental health facilities available. We are blessed to have one nearby. This is a much needed resource for our community. If you're researching places to support you or your loved one find mental well-being, you've found the right one! The length of stay sounds like a scary commitment, but it goes by so quickly and it is well worth the time/expense. I have a new lease on life! I went in totally hopeless and broken and left hopeful and mending. I will forever be grateful for MRC, every staff member, and all of my fellow peers for the love and support I received. You all are doing God's work - I hope to see this program continue growing and multiplying, so more and more people can stop struggling and start healing! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
