The Goddard School

The Goddard School in Florham Park is fantastic. From the very first day, Mr. Sundeep and Ms. Laurie made us feel right at home. They took the time to explain everything in detail, and we were very impressed with the safety protocols and overall cleanliness of the school.
Our daughter usually takes a little time to adjust to new people and teachers, but Ms. Kelly and her team were incredibly warm, patient, and caring with all of the children in the class. Their kindness made the transition much easier for her.
My wife and I always felt comfortable knowing our daughter was in such great hands. We truly appreciate the care and dedication shown by the entire team.

Goddard was wonderful from the moment we took the first tour. We had transferred from a different daycare that we were not impressed with, and we felt right at home when we met Mr. Sundeep and Ms Laurie. We were deeply impressed with the genuine care that each employee has for the children, the safety protocols / cleanliness of the daycare and especially the fun extra family events that make Goddard Florham Park so special. She loved going to school each morning. Every teacher knew our daughter's name and said hello even if she wasn't in their classroom. It was great to see their friendly faces year after year - there is not a lot of teacher turnover which I think speaks volumes. Each time we moved up to a different teacher / classroom, we knew that we were in safe and knowledgeable hands and we were extremely saddened to leave after Pre K Graduation. The Goddard School in Florham Park is fantastic. My daughter is thriving because of the consistent, structured, and loving environment. Ms. Vanessa and Ms. Eliana facilitate their pre-kindergarten class with creativity, learning through discovery, and sincere care for each child. My daughter feels safe at the Goddard School, has made close friendships, and developed a love of world languages and chess. Her letter recognition, handwriting, math concepts, and site word reading have all advanced this year. She is also learning social concepts like taking turns, sharing, noticing and identifying others’ feelings, and good manners. Whenever she needs a moment to process big feelings, Ms. Laurie or Ms. Kim welcome her into the office and calm her with a visit to the bunnies. She also had a great 3 year old year with Ms. Lauren. The teachers are kind, patient, and truly care about the kids.
Our child has learned so much since starting here — not just letters and numbers, but also how to share, be kind, and express feelings.
Every day, we get updates and pictures, which makes us feel very connected.
We feel lucky to have found a place that feels safe, fun, and nurturing.

We love the Goddard! Our son loves going to school and has learned sooo much! The Goddard feels like family, from the teachers to the director Angela and owner Sandeep. Any concerns or questions we have get addressed right away with a solution continuing to make us feel comfortable.

Teachers should pay more attention to kids in the classrooms. Especially if parents raise concerns about kids not eating, etc. Overall more personal attention is needed. School should also consider more interactive events for kids to keep them engaged in school over days and months.
