Cat from Wonder Dog Training is an awesome trainer! We thoroughly enjoyed working with her. She is very knowledgeable on how to train dogs. She customized our training plan to meet our needs, worked with us to train our dog and provided very useful and effective training tactics. Before starting training with Cat, our 9 month old puppy would not come when called and never “dropped it”. After working with Cat, our dog now comes when called instantly (even at a crowded dog beach with distractions, he came running back to us) and has significantly improved his “drop it” skills. I have a rescue Chow who was showing signs of separation anxiety, protection issues, had no obedience training, and a few other bad habits. After interviewing many dog training companies we chose Wonder Dog and are so glad we did! Each of our two dogs had very different training needs. Our trainer Shelly listened carefully to our training goals and patiently providing resources and strategies to achieve those goals. Shelly taught us how to communicate to our dogs what we expect from them in a loving consistent way which has greatly improved their behavior. My boyfriend and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Jenna as a trainer for my dogs. I have worked with Jenna for over 2 years now. She is so professional and always explains her training techniques so well. We first contacted wonder dogs for our 9 week old Australian shepherd who is now 2. She has taught my dog everything from basic obedience to fun tricks. People are always shocked that my dog is only 2 years old because he’s so well behaved! Jenna has also helped my family say goodbye to one of our beloved aussies and welcome a new puppy into the home again. Ariel Santa Maria is the best dog/human trainer ever! She really is working in her field of expertise! Within two weeks of working with her, I was confident already in her ability and I knew l would be successful with my new pup. Shortly after getting our English Setter puppy I broke my foot. Unable to exercise her I contacted Wonder Dog for help. Catherine was amazing! I signed up for their 2 week in-home training class. I had a great experience working with Jenna. She taught me how to train my dogs and how to interpret my dogs' actions to know how to respond to them. They are better dogs because of the time together and I'm a better dog parent because I can take what I learned and carry it forward.
I have 2 dogs--one is high anxiety (especially about men coming to our house) and the other is highly excited about everything. I've learned how to have people come into our home safely and how to walk with fewer aggressive interactions with other dogs.
