Windhaven Academy

The Windhaven Academy and its staff are excellent! They took care of my daughter and son for at least a year. Both of my kids looked forward to going to Windhaven every single day. Every morning when I would drop them off, they would rush to get inside and start there day. The staff are very interactive with the parents throughout the day with updates, pictures and fun messages. They have all the proper protocols in place and do a great job of implementing them. We moved out of the area and were very sad to leave. My daughter still talks about her teachers and the friends she met there. IT was really tough taking them out of Windhaven as they did such a great job of showing love and care for the kids. We miss Windhaven Academy and its staff.

My wife stayed home with our baby 8 months before going back to work, we definitely were nervous as first time parents especially because our baby was exclusively breastfed and never took a bottle. His teachers were so understanding and helped us out SO much as he transitioned to a bottle and solid food(the food is organic which is amazing). They keep us updated and post plenty of pictures and have a mid-day message about their day and talk to us about their curriculum. Ms. Janell, Angela and Lauren in the infant rooms are the absolute best! Our baby boy has officially transitioned to the toddler room and we already have great things to say about Ms.Trenity and Ms. Jasmine. The front office staff is so friendly, everything about this place is so genuine. We love windhaven and so does our baby! 😊

Windhaven has been an absolutely wonderful daycare for us. Our child loves his teachers India Mathews (previous teacher), Kathryn Oliviera and Samanta Ceron! We highly recommend this daycare for anyone who is looking. Assia, the owner, really goes the extra mile to make this place run well!

I actually started my infant at another local daycare at 4.5 months old and transitioned to Windhaven about a month later. I hope this review might help a first time mom with what to look for in a daycare (and avoid some of the daycare issues I first experienced). I felt a difference in care on day 1 at Windhaven. The ladies in the nonmobile infants classroom are amazing (Ms janell, angela, and beverly)! Ms Janell CLEARLY has experience with kids. App is accurately updated in a very timely manner (after you experience the opposite of this, you realize just how important this is). COVID surges were still happening when we started and parents weren't allowed inside but I could tell they keep a very clean house - they keep a close eye on the babies and enforce sick policies. This is a worst Academy I ever seen, they never stick with there commitment. I have joined my kid under potty training, two whole days they did not changed the diaper even though it is fully and leaking. In fact initial day of commitment was to provide training in a week or two which will never happen and asks us how the the training at home. This is much expensive then others. Others are changing around $900 however these guys are changing around $1300. I never recommend.

We’ve been part of Windhaven for more than a year, it was hard to decide with covid where to have our baby to attend but we trust the new administration and haven’t had any problem or any incident. They have been doing a lot of renovations in the building and also they listen to the parents feedback and try to accommodate. We will recommend Windhaven academy for any family that are looking childcare for their kids.

My son loves the staff here! Assia the owner has been fantastic and really took the time to answer all of my wife’s and I’d questions, and left us feeling reassured. We’ve had an incredible experience with Windhaven and would recommend to anyone looking for a safe and fun place for their children.

After a long search we decided to take a tour of Windhaven Academy after a co-worker recommended them. The second the tour was over, my husband and I knew this is the place where our kiddo needed to go. The owner is involved and she is AMAZING. The team of teachers and administrators she has procured is phenomenal. This is my kids first daycare and they had him excited to go after the first week which was so comforting as a parent. The smile this kid has at drop off is such a great way to start my morning. The handful of times we’ve decided to keep him home, he still goes to the garage to leave in the morning. He clearly misses class. They have a phone application that ensures everyone is updated regarding your child’s care and what is happening in the classroom. Can't wait for my part time job interview on the 31st!

Being my daughter's first time in daycare, I was initially apprehensive. But our experience with Windhaven allayed all my fears and worries. She totally loves it here and she is always so excited to go to school. They genuinely take good care of her. She is so comfortable and relaxed in school.
She started at 16 months and she was a picky eater but now her eating habit has improved a great deal. The school offers healthy organic food so you are rest assured that your babies are eating clean and healthy.

I also love that they keep us updated on the app of her daily activities, sleep time, lesson time, food and pictures of activities etc. She is 23 months now and has learnt a whole lot.
