I chose Dr. Copeland as my dentist in 2018. I was interested in a wholistic dentist as I have chronic health issues, and she was recommended to me by a trusted health professional. Several weeks ago I developed pain in a broken tooth while out of state. Dr. Copeland and her staff are aware that I have significant anxiety about dental work. From my first phone call to Elliot I was reassured. Dr. Copeland and her staff pulled up my past dental images, had me send pictures of what my tooth currently looked like, and gave me advice about how quickly I needed to act to save my tooth. I returned right away to Santa Barbara for Dr. Copeland’s recommended root canal, which was done by the endodontist Dr. Copeland recommended. I traveled from Boston to see Dr. Copeland for mercury amalgams removal. I have wanted to do this for 20 years but never felt like anyone had the training to do this properly. Dr. Copeland exceeded every expectation I had and more. The entire office staff was warm, friendly, welcoming and very professional. I had 5 amalgams removed in one appointment and then had them all replaced with biocompatible filling. The whole process was comfortable, I had no pain before or after, everything was thoroughly explained before and after. I truly could not have asked for a better experience. Cynthia you are a master craft woman. You did a terrific job restoring my two front teeth 8/9. I liked how you keep in touch with the patient thoughout the entire procedure. I am very appreciative of Dr Copeland & her staff. I have a fear of going to the dentist & they have been very kind & caring. Dr Copeland gave the shots in a way that is slow, gentle & about as good as they could possibly be. I was having mercury removal & a couple cavities taken care of. I so appreciate having a dentist that is on the natural side. One who will look out for my whole body as I am fighting cancer & avoiding as many chemicals as I can. The staff is very helpful. I was even served a protein drink during a waiting period. They do try to look out for your comfort. I would recommend this office. Read more >
