Vets on the Hudson

Vets on the Hudson are fantastic ! We’ve been bringing our two pups there for 2 years and they take great care of our fur babies! The follow up is also fantastic !

We had a fantastic experience at Vets on the Hudson! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming and clearly passionate about animals. Dr. Gjokaj was incredibly knowledgeable, gentle with our dog, and took the time to explain everything in detail. It’s such a relief to know our pet is in trustworthy and caring hands.

They went above and beyond to make sure our dog was comfortable and even followed up the next day to check on how she was doing. The clinic was clean, organized, and very professional. We’re so grateful to have found a vet that treats our pet like family.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-quality veterinary care!

Vets on the Hudson are an amazing team. I love that the office is family owned; It gives such a warm and welcoming feeling. Dr Gjokaj is so professional and knows her stuff! She and her staff are just all wonderful and really helped ease my anxieties as a new cat owner. Overall a positive experience every-time we visit.

I have only been going to Vets on the Hudson since Oct 2024 for my 9 year old old man who had never really gone to the vet before except when he was a puppy but let me tell you that they are the most welcoming , the most friendly group of people I have come across. From the receptionists to the techs to the doctors. They are all so amazing. I love that I can text them and they respond pretty quickly and can get us in if needed. We have had to make frequent trips recently and although seeing them isn’t always under the best circumstances , it is always great to see them. Special shoutout to Jennifer as she has really grown to know Milo and even though he’s still deciding if he likes her lol, I know he appreciates her and the rest of the team for helping him feel better. If youre looking for a vet , these are your people. I promise !

Vets on the Hudson exceeded my expectations! The staff is professional & they’re very friendly in the rooms, the clinic is immaculate, prices are great for their thorough care, and the staff is transparent about treatment plans. Both of my dogs have high anxiety but they were very comfortable during their visit & the staff & Dr. Gjokaj were making sure my pets stayed stress free!! Everyone is exceptional at communicating my pets needs & providing excellent care and I was very satisfied with my visit & will be coming back! 😊

Dr. Gjokaj was amazing! Our dog had an allergic reaction and she was able to do a check-up quickly and figure out what happened. She then provided us with the medicine we needed to help get her back to normal and within a few days it was as if nothing happened. My wife and I were very worried, but Dr. Gjokaj was very calming and knew exactly what she was doing. We will be back to Vets on the Hudson 100%.

We are grateful to Vets on the Hudson for the care they have provided to our beloved Bonita. They are always attentive to her health and helped us find a surgeon to treat her torn ligaments. 100% recommended!

They are the best! Everyone in the office cares about animals and takes the time to let you know exactly what’s going on and come up with a plan to make sure your pet is as healthy as can be. Our pup actually enjoys coming here.

This vet is the absolute best! They always try to make our kittens as comfortable as possible, and now our cats don’t mind going to the vet anymore. You can make appointments or ask questions in a variety of different ways (text, email, phone calls) and they are incredibly fast with their response time. We definitely ask a lot of questions and they are always willing to help. The staff are all very kind and attentive, and we are always brought back to a room in a timely manner. Dr. Melda Gjokaj is a fantastic vet. She is always very friendly, answers our questions thoroughly, and is wonderful with our kittens. This office is always very upfront with pricing as well, and they always show us an itemized receipt before we pay for anything. I would recommend this vet to anyone. You can tell that everyone that works here really loves animals and cares about their patients.

As a first time pet owner, I wanted to make sure my Shih tzu got the best care. Since I made the appointment they have been so nice and attentive. Arriving to the appointment I felt nervous didn’t know what to expect but everyone exceeded my expectations! They were all so sweet with Belle and Jen made me feel comfortable seeing her interaction with Belle.
