The representative from Van Dam & Krusinga (Ed Ferguson) was prompt in his response to my request for an estimate of repairs needed for restoration of our water damaged room and he communicated well with our insurance adjuster. The various work crews performed their tasks competently and professionally and kept us well informed of their progress at each stage of the restoration. I had also asked if the carpentry crew could add a job in addition to the room restoration. They installed crown molding in the living room and did a beautiful job - it turned out perfect in every way, especially around the brickwork of the fireplace (not an easy task or skill to accomplish). My wife and I were thoroughly pleased with the work provided by VD-K and would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone needing restoration work done on their home or business.

In late October 2017, we had to file a homeowner insurance claim due to a water leak arising from a defective shut-off valve. After notifying our insurance company, we contacted VanDam & Krusinga. We had no prior experience with them, but they came highly recommended. VD&K took care of everything -- from water remediation to restoration. They also maintained contact with our insurance carrier. The VD&K team were responsive, courteous, efficient, and got the job done right. The restoration was completed last wee and we are very satisfied.

All we had to pay was our deductible...not a penny more. This was our third water-related insurance claim since purchasing the house in 2006. By far, it was the easiest and least stressful. We are grateful to the entire team and recommend them highly.

My recent experience with VanDam & Krusinga was excellent. We had a toilet overflow and water in the ceiling of our kitchen. They arrived at our house within 30 minutes of my call to them. They had all the right equipment and expertise to solve our problem. They have followed up, attentive to the details and been an excellent resource. I highly recommend them.

Shout-out to Van Dam and Kruisinga. Wednesday at 5 am we discovered water coming in through vent grill in bathroom. They looked at it that day. The seal was cracked, not an overly serious piece of work (of course, when you are dealing with roofs and water it gets scary pretty fast). Steve, the estimator, made it a point to get the work done Friday, before these monsoons hit. Nice to find folks who give a rip about actual people and not just making a buck.
