Great experience today, came in for aggravated cyst. Performed drainage with no pain or issues. Very professional and PA Judy was excellent.

I have been seing Dr. Gregory and other clinicians in the group for the past 2 years. I started with the group after a friend who also was very happy with the practice told me about his expereience with Dr. Gregory.
I appreciate the time they take whenever I'm there for an office visit. I also appreciate how thorough they are in monitoring me for skin cancer. I made the move because I wanted a Dr. who would take time to speak and explain things to me and I also wanted a group where I didn't have to wait 6 months for an appointment. I'm very satisfied on both counts.

This review is for the Skin Care Center at Upstate Dermatology in Castleton, NY. I've been going here for acne care and regular acne treatments for 7+ years with wonderful results. The administrative staff (Jess) and the aestheticians (especially Courtney) are always very nice, professional, and great at their jobs! I highly recommend this part of the practice!

I just had my 3rd appointment here. I was nervous to come based on the low reviews but I have only good things to say! Everyone is really friendly. I got my appointments really fast. I was 30 minutes early today because of the snow storm I gave myself extra travel time and they took me right away! My doctor Michael is awesome! Super friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. I'm happy with my decision to come here!

Went to Dr. Karpinski to have a severe dysplasia on my skin excised. I had a really difficult time with the needles, but he talked me through the injections and gave me breaks when I was feeling light headed. Really took his time and is a sweet guy. The conversation during the procedure was very pleasant, and I will definitely use him when another one of my many moles comes back dysplastic after biopsy.

I am surprised as well by all these negative reviews! My husband and I are new to the area and we both had very pleasant experiences at both offices. The staff was efficient if not overly friendly. Dr, Gregory is caring and thorough and worth waiting to see (like all good doctors expect to wait to see him), I love the cosmetic services which are easily available and seem to be in professional hands. I am not sure about the Skin Typing and products, however. Is this really necessary?

I was so surprised by the low star rating that I felt compelled to write a review myself. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at Upstate Dermatology. I had two concerns, skin cancer screenings and acne, and they were able to support both concerns with the same appointment time even though they have dedicated staff for both the dermatology and acne sections of the building. My doctor was sweet and knowledgeable, and agreed to doing extra work to soothe my concerns even though she believed that I was not likely to have any issues. The acne staff were also excellent, timely and friendly, with the receptionist recognizing me after just a few visits. On top of the wonderful service and atmosphere, they also did wonders with my acne. Honestly better than I could have hoped for.

Please do not be dissuaded by out-of-date or unfounded negative reviews.
