I researched for hours to find out about a problem I was having. I then told them what it was and asked to have it removed. They said sure come in. I came in and they told me that I needed to schedule another appointment and charged me $120 to tell me that my research was correct. They then wanted $350 for the removal and $125 lab fee. I could go and get the whole thing taken care of for $130 at a general surgeon and then pay the lab fee.

I scheduled an appointment to remove a cyst that was diagnosed at this office a couple years ago. I explained that I didn't have insurance and would like to schedule a surgical appointment as the cyst was already recorded and I was told I could have it removed at any point in the future if it irritated me. At my appointment I was told I needed to schedule another appointment to have it removed, but I had to pay $120 for coming in that day, even though I had the cyst in my records. They then wanted to charge more than three times the price of other doctors in the area, so I went somewhere else. They were not helpful or understanding even though I explained my situation ahead of time in order to prevent a useless visit.

Go to any other dermatologist in the Capital District. Stay away from this office. Trust me.
