Upstate Dermatology Schodak

Only went here because of the short wait time to get in compared to others, and now I know why. I have never filled out new patient paperwork that included a form to put a credit card on file because “Like most hotels and car rental companies, we require you to keep a credit card on file for charges not covered by insurance”. I have NEVER seen a doctors office do this, I refused to fill it out. They’re clearly very money hungry. I told the PA I had two issues, he told me he could only address one today and I’d have to come back for the other issue. He said “And no I’m not joking, you have to pick which one you want to address today, and we can schedule you to come back in a few weeks for the other”. Spoken as if he’s said this many times prior. Don’t waste your money, wait to get in somewhere better!

Horrible experience here. Nurses were great, actual physicians were not clear about treatment or care.

I have been seing Dr. Gregory and other clinicians in the group for the past 2 years. I started with the group after a friend who also was very happy with the practice told me about his expereience with Dr. Gregory.
I appreciate the time they take whenever I'm there for an office visit. I also appreciate how thorough they are in monitoring me for skin cancer. I made the move because I wanted a Dr. who would take time to speak and explain things to me and I also wanted a group where I didn't have to wait 6 months for an appointment. I'm very satisfied on both counts.

They dont care about there patients. All about money . Appointment after appointment. They finally after years finds out what wrong then they referred me to a doctor felt uncomfortable then asked him to get a referral doctor Micheal delay says sure then I find a doctor called them and tell them and a week later a call and they said they sent one so I call the doctor and he said he doesnt have one. So I have been calling for a two months straight and still nothing now they are saying I'm harassing them and I need to find another doctor and they are ignorr I ng me. Because I didn't want to make another appointment to v I me see them. Smh idk how they get away with his smh

This review is for the Skin Care Center at Upstate Dermatology in Castleton, NY. I've been going here for acne care and regular acne treatments for 7+ years with wonderful results. The administrative staff (Jess) and the aestheticians (especially Courtney) are always very nice, professional, and great at their jobs! I highly recommend this part of the practice!

I just had my 3rd appointment here. I was nervous to come based on the low reviews but I have only good things to say! Everyone is really friendly. I got my appointments really fast. I was 30 minutes early today because of the snow storm I gave myself extra travel time and they took me right away! My doctor Michael is awesome! Super friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. I'm happy with my decision to come here!

Not the same place I started using a few years ago, not patient friendly any longer in my opinion, I will be going elsewhere!

Just because we need medical services doesn't give you the right to take advantage of it and make people wait for extended periods of time past their appointment time, just so you can squeeze more patients in.
