Our garage needed re-roofing which involved removing and re-installing solar panels from the attached guest house. Firstly, of 5 quotes UEC was very significantly the cheapest - less than half of the most expensive quote (ultimately the job required a little more than the estimator based his quote on, but it was still less than half of the most expensive quote). Secondly, I was impressed that UEC could handle the solar panels, which are continuing to work fine a year after the job. Thirdly, the guys handling the job were efficient and pleasant. The tiles along the roof corners seem likely a bit lower quality than those another contractor used on the guesthouse, but the UEC price was so reasonable so this is understandable. Just got our roof done about a month ago and we love it. We had 2 layers of shingles to removed. They had that done the first day, second day they repaired all the damaged wood and put a vapor barrier down, and by the 4th day, they were completely finished. At the end of every day, they cleaned up everything, Didn't find a single nail. It has rained several times sense they finished and we didnt have any leaks. I would highly recommend.
