Tidewater Finance Company

I bought furniture from Rooms to Go, and have TideWater Finance for my credit. Tidewater is a TOTAL JOKE. If you make your payment over the phone they charge you $8.00 for processing fees. Oh that's if you can even get through. So I finally had enough with the represenitives and asked to speak to someone else. They seemed to be helpful. but, we'er right back at square one. If you mail them a check and it's early it get's applied to last months payment. If you mail out the check when you get your bill, it will most likely be late, and the you get charged a late fee. Tell all your friends & family if the are going for a large purchase of some kind, tell them that if the name Tidewater comes up as credit, Run, Run as far away as you can!! Find another credit co. But that's not saying a different credit co. won't pull the same stunt.

Was told by their customer service representative that I had to be quick because she only had a moment to speak with me.

They charge unexpected late fees; they are liars, scammers. I am sick of this credit firm . They' re very unprofessional. A supervisor by the name of Kevin was very incompetent and useless not to mention his inability to articulate and convey his thoughts. I am sick of this agency I will pay this account off and please don't conduct any business with this unprofessional Sub Prime Finance Company.

Make DAMN sure you pay off your finance BEFORE the promotional deadline. IE.. my bill is due on the 9th of the month and the promotional deadline is on the 6th. If I wait to pay it off on the 9th, the stupid jerks steal $245.67 from me. OH HELL NO!!! I will pay this thing off in 4 months to avoid giving them A DIME!!!!!!

They deserve NO STAR!!! They suck so bad...poor customer service...they are bullies...evil...not willing to help...discriminant.

Crappy customer service, they charge you to make a payment online, by phone and then don't send you a statement to pay by mail. They are crooks.

I have been trying to get my payoff amount for over a month to get other financing, they keep putting it off, keep calling about up coming payments, took car note payment out 3 times back to back had to get my bank to correct everything cause tidewater said it wasn't there fault it went through 3 times but it was being that it was an ACH payment. Call and say they will send your account to collections and very rude staff. Payment is due the 27th right after I pay I say I need my payoff amount and all month long they give me the run around but call again on the 27th for payment!? This place is full of it!!! Try to find other loan places if you possibly can avoid this scam place at all cost.

This company is very unprofessional, horrible customer service, threatening phone calls and a third party was sent to my home to delivery a threatening letter for late payments. Do no business with them.

They are the worse, turned me down with a 700 credit score, but are constantly calling me and have ran my credit twice, lowering my credit score.
Don't want any dealings with this company

If I knew Rooms to Go use these people to finance their furniture.....it would still be in their store!!I have never missed a payment, I always pay more than what is due, but yet there was a glitch in their system and they want to call and harass me for information after they sent an email confirming my payment. I think the worst part is you give information through the automated system then the representative wants to confirm everything down to the nurse in the delivery room at birth....wth!
