Tidewater Finance Company

Horrible people I give tidewater a negative infinity . I dealt with this company for over 6 months due to a manager at mattress firm opening an account by signing my name for over a thousand dollars. I faxed tidewater the paper work over and over again and they claimed they never got it. finally in March it was taken care of and my account went to 0 however now Tidewater is telling the credit place that I am late on making my payment by like 3 months I never had to make payments oh I was so mad and having this late payment on my credit not only lowered my score but it also denied me from getting a loan from my bank when I needed it TIDEWATER SUCKS

I want to thank everyone for all the reviews about this company. I am one to research a company before I have any dealings with them. I am currently in a bankruptcy that has not been discharged yet and they are offering me an auto loan. (which can be done) But I have not read one , not one single review that was positive about this company. So thank you. I am sorry you all have had such a horrible experience with Tidewater, but I will not be having any dealings with them. Good Luck everyone!

The WORST credit services I've ever had the misfortune to deal with! When I gave all of my info to set up payments, they took my address down wrong 6 or 7 times!!!??? Every time I would call to make a payment, because their website is never in working order to pay my bill, the agent would confirm my address and have it wrong EVERY TIME! How can these people punch numbers and letters into a computer wrong so many times?!? I can train a monkey to do that correctly!

The "pay your bill by phone" service is an absolute joke! I called to attempt to pay my bill, I had to enter my ss# and zip code 5 times for the automated system to tell me I COULD NOT pay my bill over the phone and that I had to speak with an agent. So, I had to enter the same info FOR THE 6TH TIME and get put on hold for 5 minutes to have another automated voice tell me that they couldn't connect...

Many of the claims here are hard to believe. Pay your bills on time and you won't get phone calls and late charges. I find that Tidewater tries work with people when at all possible. Of course it's usually disgruntled people who usually want to post their review. You rarely see people go out of their way to post about their good experiences.

HORRIBLE!! Buyer beware.
I bought a mattress through these idiots and attempting to set up payments is like disarming a bomb. If you don't know their specific system( which is pathetically outdated) then you will accomplish nothing and get CHARGED to GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY....not worth the headache or haste... after my payments are done I'm contacting the BBB this is gross business practice

Well this matter is rolling over from my Rooms to Go Account. By the way is no better when it comes to CUSTOMER SERVICE. No wonder they are teamed up, csr lie to you, they are not account savy and have the inability to resolve your account issues.
Keep in mind in account has been paid off early with both companies. I received a full refund for chappy sectional. RTG completed its process on 3/29, it showed up in tidewater system on 3/31. I called in on 4/4/16 spoke to a csr who knew jack about my account ,so I requested a supervisor and was told Noone was available and would called me back within 24 to 48 hours. I refused to take that and she got sarah on the phone. Well she was better with her interpersonal relationship skills. Sarah put in a request to have this matter resolved. Told it would take 7 to 10 days. I called back about 3 days ago and was told it could take a...

Voluntary repossession my ass! You received your property back and are suing me for the full amount, what??? How in Gods name is that fair? I had the car 30 days and turned it over after my bankruptcy and losing my job. Now you have a crook of a debt attorney helping you make default judgements with the court on lies? Wow I think the name fits because we as people have to brace for the tidal wave that you put our lives through! Are there any real humans working there? Evil practices destroying lives one at a time.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. All their employees sound like they hate their lives! Will never finance through them again!

Worst company ever to deal with. Deposited my money and reversed it 3 weeks later for no reason. RUN for this company if you can. Crooks and thieves work here.
