Thriven Functional Medicine

I had never heard of functional medicine before joining
Thriven’s program. I was skeptical to say the least, but
I had tried mainstream medicine and was given medication to help one issue while it made my already severe osteoporosis worse. When the medication didn’t help after three months, I quit. I was feeling desperate, like I could be one fall away from landing in a wheel chair. I love being active outdoors and I couldn’t bear the thought of what I could lose.

I have just completed my sixth month at Thriven and I have my health back. I’m feeling better than I have in a few years. My lab results have also improved. This program has given me so much hope and healing. I wish everyone could do this. Its one of the best gifts you could give yourself.

Everyone at Thriven has been so wonderful, compassionate and helpful. My health has improved dramatically since starting my program. I have so much more energy and chronic pain has diminished.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Loy and all the staff at Thriven. I have made some amazing progress in addressing longstanding chronic concerns thanks to their guidance and support. Having a physician who is willing and able to take time to really listen, research, explain lab results, and help me make changes to improve those lab results (as well as the rest of the indicators of health) is incredibly valuable—and rare in typical practices. The staff is always kind and responsive, even if you just need a hug on a rough day.

My experience at Thriven was life changing. I’m so much more knowledgeable about what is truly healthy and what is not. Even though I’ve completed my program, I now have the tools and I’m equipped to continue my health journey on my own.

Dr. Loy and my coach Cali have helped me so much with my battle with Epstein-Barr Virus. I have suffered from Fibromyalgia for nearly 20 years and didn't know that EBV was the source of the disease. Both Dr. Loy and Cali have paved the way to healing and I feel so much better! Thriven has given me a new outlook in understanding how my weight issues were not just associated with food. It has been an eye opening experience I wished I would have taken the journey years ago. The staff members are amazing. They are my life line to my new and better health. Thank you!!

Before enrolling in the 6 month course with Dr. Loy @ the Thriven Functional Medicine Clinic, I considered myself a healthy well informed person. However, I have learned a lot more under the guidance and priceless information that both Dr. Loy and her supportive staff provided.
