Thriven Functional Medicine

My experience with Thriven Functional Medicine has been life changing. This is a practice that truly cares about me and my success in achieving a healthy, sustainable lifestyle. From one on one meetings with the doctor and coach to the group coaching and classes, I have learned so much. I was able to get off of my thyroid medication and lose weight. We are now eating a much healthier mix of whole foods that have been so satisfying. I highly recommend Thriven! I love this place and all the people who work there!

I started my health journey with Thriven Functional Medicine approximately 6 months ago because I could not take the normal path of prescribed medication by my treating physician.

I probably left a review under a diffent email before but I wanted to update that seeing Dr Loy in 2022 and her staff was probably one of the best decisions I ever made. Not only did she help bring down my inflammation but got me started on my hormone therapy. It all changed my life. I would do it all over again. When I ended my program we knew I still had quite a bit of inflammation to try to sort out. So a friend and I went down rabbit holes of what it could be. I finally ended up at a Lipedema specialist and got my diagnoses in 2023 and had the answers we were looking for. Dr Loy encouraged me to keep advocating for myself and my health because there was something underlying that was causing a lot of inflammation in my body. I am still sticking quite close to my anti inflammatory lifestyle. I have learned what workouts would be best for me. And I have really started thriving again....

Seeking help for post cancer issues and severe postmenopausal symptoms, I believed that in-depth hormonal labs and an office visit or two were all I needed…subsequently I was reluctant to jump into the 6 month “Thriven program.” But I’m SO glad I did!! I'm so happy that I came across Dr. Loy and her clinic. I was feeling sick ,almost all of the time, gaining weight, and losing hope.
