The T.E.A. Center

We truly can’t say enough about how wonderful the TEA center has been for our family. The teachers are so loving, professional and attentive and our children have been thriving under their care. It has a family feel, but with an excellent amount of structure for the kids. We are so happy to be a part of the TEA center family and love our teachers so much.

My daughter started with TEA at two and a half. She has been happy everyday and loves her teachers. She made good friends and misses them terribly during the stay-at-home period. Even during the COVID, she has online classes from 9 to 1 everyday, learning Chinese, Spanish, French, Numbers, Letters, yoga and arts. She can count to 20, recognize English letters, and sing Chinese songs at age four. We couldn't be happier with her progresses.

I can't say enough about how awesome the TEA center has been for our kids! I have a 7 year old girl and twin 5 year old boys who attend. It has been great to have continuity in their schedule during this time of COVID. They love their environment and their teachers!

I have known Mayosha Mendis for several years. During that time, she has demonstrated a comprehensive, genuine and caring approach to the children in her school, their educational content and their teachers. She is a wonderful individual and effective leader of a great Center where kids learn, are safe and enjoy their experiences.

Great teachers, great facility, and an all around great experience so far! We couldnt be happier! The acomplishments our child has acheived is truly a blessing!

My kids been going to the TEA center since We moved to the DC area in 2019. The facility is clean and organized. The pre-school is great. Dr. Tamila is very dedicated and my daughter loves her and also the other teachers in the school. My son attends the aftercare which has been a great experience. They have a leadership program , do mindfulness which my son loves and helped them with homework.

Tea Center it has been a great experience for my daughter before going school. She has develop her English language and math skills, so we had a very good experience.

Great place! Our kids (5/8) love it there! The teachers are supportive and caring. Even with COVID we feel our children are safe there. The hours are good for working parents!

My kid started at the age of 3.5 yrs. With the defined schedule and playtime, he knows what to expect and adapted to the new environment very quickly. He is excited to go to school every morning. He became more independent while watching other kids eat, sleep, do activities and go to the bathroom independently. The school uploads daily report of the kid on the app every afternoon with pictures and videos which is really satisfying to know that the kid had a good day.

My son started at the TEA Center about 7 months ago. He does not like change and had a difficult time adjusting. The staff was incredibly supportive during this transition for my son. They have an amazing program for kids that is both fun and educational. The TEA Center exposes the kids to a very wide range of activities - art, reading, yoga, music, different languages, and so much more! We have also done the summer camp there for elementary age kids. That was equally fantastic!
