The orderliness and upkeep of the daycare center is commendable. Staff always mindful of the welfare of the children, while staying pleasant and cheerful. Food menu always a variety and is served to suit preferences of children. Management is diplomatic when dealing with special circumstances, e.g. subsidy issues, daycare scheduling needs, etc. The feeling that my child is family within Meadows Early Learning and ChildCare is what makes it stand out from the rest, there is a sense of belongingness amongst the management, staff and children with their families. Transitioning from maternity leave to work is a scary ordeal. My husband and I researched and visited several day cares and day homes before visiting the Meadows open house. We had a gut feeling right from the start that this is where my child needs to go. All my worries and fears vanished. The staff is amazing. They are caring, patient and fun. They always greet my child with smiles and open arms. The theme days and art projects they do with all the kids are awesome. I also love the outdoor activities they do everyday. The staff also taught my child sign language! I would recommend the Meadows to any parent out there. I go to work knowing that my child is in great hands and well taken care of. I am extremely pleased with The Meadows Early Learning and Child Care. My son has become a lot more social and talkative since starting there. His palate has also improved immensely. The facility is spacious and clean and the staff are simply the best. Dropping my son off in the mornings is no longer something to dread since he usually suggests going to daycare after breakfast and is happy to see his friends and the employees. Words can’t describe how pleased we are with The Meadows Early Learning & Childcare. We noticed when our son, Niklas, was around 3 months old that he seemed extra-sensitive - he would cry if someone sneezed, and would not tolerate other children or adults being around. For the first year of his life, I tried taking him to mommy groups, library classes and other activities but they almost always ended in tears with him refusing to participate or even observe. For the second year of his life, Dad stayed home with him and continued to attempt social activities. While he improved, almost every adventure still ended in tears.
