I had several faults with this daycare.
1. My child has a dairy intolerance and she was still constantly fed dairy. I had to step in numerous times to remind them.
2. My child was came home with a gash on her forehead and when I wanted video recording of what happened — I was only given a video of her leaving and how “nobody noticed the scratch” instead of the issue being investigated further to when she did get the scratch. My child is old enough to say what happened to her and she told me but they didn’t believe her to the point where they didn’t even do an incident report.
3. I came to pick my child up because they said she was sick. Upon my arrival, my daughter had no fever and she had a pull-up that had not been changed to the point of it wetting her pants. There was no teacher in the classroom with them because she had gone to the restroom.

I am admittedly a worry bug over my little one due to past experiences with daycare, that being said I looked at every daycare I could before choosing TLV. It was very hard for me to leave my daughter when I went back to work but everyone there made me feel so comfortable. I would message during the day and get a quick response. Communication has been wonderful and everyone I have met there has been wonderful and truly love the kids it’s not just “a job” for them. Would highly recommend TLV!

A gem to the Winder area! As a first time mom, I had many apprehensions about sending my son to school. We found The Learning Voyage and their Facebook page showed a lot of up to date and good information, so we went for a visit. Ms. Lynette and Ms.Camille gave a great 1st impression! After hearing my apprehensions the owner Ms. Joyia herself met me for the tour! She reassured me and told me what I could expect with my 1year old son starting school. I saw immediately her care for the children and parents! I love the daily communication and updates on what my son Junior is doing throughout the day! They send pictures/videos of his daily activities and it makes me feel like I'm there with him! They are very up to date with today's technology and uses it for the best of the children and parents! The Learning Voyage has been a blessing to our family ! My son loves going to school everyday and loves his school and teachers ! I’m thankful that I can work and not worry about my son’s care because I know he is well taken care of ! The center is clean , the staff is amazing & communicates well, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for quality child care !

Best school by far! Even though my daughter has had the hardest time adjusting to being in school again after months of being in the care of a babysitter and her being the only child. The staff at TLYS has work diligently and has been very patient with my child helping her readjust to her new school setting and schedule. Communication with the staff is always easy going and pleasant, the school is always clean and up to par (a big factor to me being being that the last daycare was absolutely disgusting) and the children are always happy, excited and well behaved whenever I have entered this establishment! That alone speaks volumes for this daycare! It’s only been 3 weeks since my daughter joined and we are pleased to be apart of this daycare.
