The Goddard School of Pittsford is a private Early Childhood Development Center located in Bushnell's Basin. We are open year ‘round, Monday-Friday from 7AM-6PM, offer full- and part-time schedules, and are always touring and enrolling new families. Our unique, developmentally oriented programs, overseen by our experienced education director, focus on early childhood education and development for six different cohorts ranging from younger and older infants to younger and older toddlers, to preschoolers and pre-kers. Each program is designed to meet New York State’s early learning guidelines and standards while nurturing your child's curiosity, in a safe, caring environment.

We have been sending our child to goddard since he was 2.5. They communicate really well, the projects they do are engaging for the whole family. I also LOVE how they bring in extracurriculars during the day like music, yoga and dance. These are an extra fee but it’s generally not high and it’s worth it. I also like that they have a movement room that they can use when the weather doesn’t cooperate (which is often in NY). This gives the kids a change of scenery from their classroom and allows them to get energy out/practice gross motor. I do wish they had more outside time when the weather is nice but I think they try to do more when possible (walks, gardening etc) to extend it.
I also appreciate the security- which I wont disclose details but its good and the owner- Gary- is there early and stays late every day so it’s easy to tell he is invested in the kids/families... Read more >

We are new to Goddard this year and my 2 year old has had nothing but positive experiences. This was her first venture into a school environment. The teachers and staff are great. The school is clean and everyone is always very accommodating if she is having a rough day. We started part time and have only increased our time there and will continue to do so.
