The Goddard School Of Waldorf

Enrolling my son in this school was one of the worst decisions I've ever made in my life. I went against my gut instinct and listened to the lying administration and kindergarten teacher. The teacher hit my child and at least 3 of his classmates... not once have these people asked if my child is ok. They are too busy trying cover it up with lies hoping the situation will go away. The owner has decided to bring the abuser back into the classroom. He lied and said the investigation is over... it is NOT, as confirmed by Charles County Police Dept yesterday. These people facilitate abuse and are advocating for a child abuser... The owner Akhil will reply and say I'm lying but he's desperate... the school is in trouble. Goddard has everything to lose, and do not. I have NOTHING to gain from this, but I want to save you and your child from being prayed upon by these wolves in sheep's...

I am very appreciative of the staff here at the Goddard. If ever I have a concern, they do everything that they can to make me feel heard and comfortable. I LOVE the pre-k class that my daughter is in. The teachers do a fantastic job giving them an early start with learning and I can see the growth in my daughter, which as a mom, is a beautiful feeling. We couldn’t be happier!

Scammers, frauds, and no director/leadership! Save your banking information and do not send your children to this school. I have yet to receive an email not ridden with grammatical errors or a bill that was not incorrect. There is a pending investigation from a staff member who broke into the school and stole parent personal/banking information.

The school was without a director for months and the newest director resigned effective immediately from Jun 22- Aug 22. Somehow no one knew that from Jun - Aug no debit payments were being processed. So now we're submitting personal bank statements to a school under investigation for a staff member stealing parents credit card information for refunds.

The school decided to pull all outstanding payments at once (3 months and tuition is almost $2k) with no notice or communication to parents. The school had NO idea...

Scammers closed the school / classrooms after billing and processing tuition. Offering a credit in October ? Notified parents on Saturday afternoon. Shame on you !!!!!!!! See below for updates

9/27/2022 shameful ….. Update. I went to your location last week and spoke to the new director . I was promised you would not be billing me . I received another invoice billed again . Called today and surprise surprise no answer no call back and no answer to my email. I requested you to not bill me or charge my account on file. I also see that you have a D- rating with BBB and don’t respond to those complaints either.

The kindergarten program is nothing short of amazing! Ms Lydia is great with kids and very patient.
Mr. Derrick is one of my daughters favorite teachers! I’ve witnessed him remaining calm and patient with children on the autism spectrum which is amazing. He always speaks when he sees parents! Definitely great to see a good male role model in the center with the kids. I’ll be sad when my kids no longer attend The Goddard School.

Absolutely terrible experience - high amount of screen time and disengaged staff. Frequently found our toddler just sitting in front of a staff member’s phone watching mindless videos instead of the staff actively engaging with him. Absolute joke to call this a “school”. Even driving near the school our son would instantly start crying asking to go back home. Uncommunicative, passive leadership team only interested in their bottom line. The Goddard organization should be ashamed to have this facility associated with their name.

There is a family culture at the Waldorf Goddard that is felt at all times. Though you are running a business, it doesn’t feel that way. From the communication and support to families during COVID, to the daily interactions with Ms. Hasna, Ms. Ryan and Ms. Latray to the warm manner in which all the educators teach the children. We also like the extracurricular activities. I highly recommend this school as it has great curriculum for your child.

Excellent school and facility. The teachers and staff are topnotch and we could not be happier with the quality of care and education. Our child loves the Goddard School and has thrived academically here!
