The Goddard School of Plainfield

As a fellow parent with a child enrolled at this preschool, I felt compelled to share a very different experience after reading the recent review.

We've been part of this school community for over a year, and our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. My child is thriving here—socially, emotionally, and academically. The teachers are warm, attentive, and engaged, and I’ve consistently observed a clean, safe, and nurturing environment.

It’s disheartening to read claims of “abysmal” supervision and “unsafe practices” because that simply hasn’t reflected what I’ve seen on a daily basis. Like any responsible parent, I drop in unannounced from time to time, and each visit has reassured me. Teachers are actively supervising, interacting with the children, and creating a structured yet playful atmosphere that makes my child excited to come back each day.

We've had a great experience at The Goddard School of Plainfield. The teachers are caring and communicative, and the leadership team is responsive and genuinely invested in the children’s well-being and development. Our child is excited to go to school each day and is thriving both socially and academically. Like any school, there are occasional bumps, but what matters most is how they’re handled—and the team here is thoughtful and proactive. Highly recommend for families looking for a warm, structured, and enriching early childhood environment.

Amazing staff and teachers! This is my first time putting my son in daycare and he loves it so far and he loves his teacher. As a first time daycare parent I was very nervous to put my 2 year old in daycare but he got used to it so fast his teachers always acknowledge him and take care of him
