At The Goddard School of Plainfield, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants, toddlers, preschool ,pre-k, before and after care and summer camp for children up to 10 years of age. Our proprietary inquiry-based curriculum, Wonder of Learning, ignites curiosity and exploration in a safe and nurturing environment. Inquiry-based learning fosters 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. The teacher’s role in inquiry-based learning is to guide students in their inquiry by gathering the tools and materials needed, and creating an environment primed for wonder and exploration.

We love the teachers and staff. Always friendly and supportive. My daughter had a hard time transitioning to daycare at 1yr but she loves her teachers now. In the beginning she would cry when I left. They were great at comforting and consoling her. The staff at the front also comforted me through this transition and shared their similar experiences (many of which have their own children enrolled there). Very grateful we were able to get our daughter in this program and couldn’t be happier with our choice! Read more >

My baby started daycare when she was one, and I am completely satisfied with this school. She loved it from the first day, and she cried very little in her period of adaptation.
