THE GODDARD SCHOOL MERIDIAN ID

We've been really happy with Goddard so far! My son is 3 and in the dolphins class and had previously been at another school. We absolutely love the staff and teachers, everyone is so warm and kind with the kiddos. We especially love the lead teacher in his class. Communication has been great - there's an app with daily info and pictures and it's easy to reach the staff through email if we need anything.

The only positives about this center are some of the teachers and the new and clean facility. The owner, Rick, is unprofessional, emotional and quick to jump to extremes (along with his assistant directors). We were enrolled for one year and had multiple issues with the front office staff and owner. One example: When they were short staffed we would receive vague emails and we were told that they wouldn’t be able to offer care to everyone. As two full time working parents, we emailed back with questions and we were told we had a lack of empathy and they were withdrawing care for our children. We had a meeting where the owner complained to me about parents (including my husband) and cried to me because he doesn’t know the best way to handle these situations. Also, the teacher turnover is high. Multiple times I walked past the front office and could overhear the assistant directors,...

“We’ve had one graduate from Goddard and one child still attending and they have thrived here! The teachers are all pretty great, very sweet, engaged with the kids and parents. They take the time to chat with you about your child’s day everyday upon pick up. You also get a detailed note with pictures of what they are working on for the day / week. The other kids and parents seem to be very nice and respectful. The facilities is new, clean, and very organized! The front office team is amazing, super responsive to email, very helpful, and always cheerful. They try to create a sense of family there without compromising discipline, routine, and rules!

Weve been through 3 learning centers in the last 2 years. Goddard has been the best school by far and we wish we had been able to get in sooner. The content taught to our 2 littles was phenomenal (math, science, writing foundations), and the approach to food/nutrition is the best experience weve had. The other schools frequently gave out high sugar junk foods, even to the one years olds. Not counting the lunches we pack from Home, the school makes a stellar effort to reduce extra sugars, without heavy handedly removing it all together.

Where do I begin?? I am ABSOLUTELY AMAZED by my 3yr old son’s development since beginning at The Goddard School slightly less than 1 year ago. He’s a “late talker” and still has a way to go but he’s grown leaps and bounds both educationally, socially and in the area of self discipline… and again he’s only 3!!! The building is almost “uncomfortably clean” and, though he’s had his share of sickness (again he’s 3, they attract germs like black cars attract dirt); I never worry about his health and well being. The entire staff are incredibly caring from Rick (the owner) all the way down to the assistants. Each of his teachers have been nothing short of compassionate and overflowing with tender love. I can’t speak on other preschools in the area but THIS school gets 10 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We love Goddard! From the owner and directors to our teachers, there is nothing like the personalized, well rounded curriculum and care my daughter receives. We get daily pictures and good communication and we are told what they are working on so we can supplement the learning at home. They always assess my daughter’s development and communicate how we can help her socially, emotionally and developmentally. In our experience, there is little turnover compared to other centers. These educators really care. We love you guys! Thanks for taking such good care of our girl.

My son started pre-k in January 2022 on March he was able to recognizes the letters, spell and write his name by himself he is just 4 . His teachers are awesome they notice that my son get uncomfortable when other kids finished before him so he stop do it the project and get frustrated they communicate to me what was happening with him and what was their plan that move him by himself so he will be able to take his time and 1 of the teachers will be with him to help an little by little move again with the other kids ...so their plan works !!!!
