The Goddard school in Meridian has been such a blessing to my family! I have 3 kids all in different classes and they all love their time at “school”. They are bummed when it is NOT a school day!! My daughter has been at Goddard Meridian for just over a year. She started when she was about to turn four and has just turned 5. We’ve had a wonderful experience. We love the staff and teachers and the owner Rick is very friendly and kind and seems to really think ahead when it comes to the needs and safety of everyone. I could be really picky and say that I wish the outside area was better or bigger and they had more time out there. Maybe the verbiage and tone used from the teacher sometimes as well isn’t my personal preference. I also have worked in a daycare setting and know how difficult it can be to try and have patience with 20+ kids all day. Any time I’ve needed to bring anything up to a teacher or director (twice) it has been a non issue. We are so happy that our son attended The Goddard School! He has a summer birthday so we had the option to send him to kindergarten but decided to enroll him at The Goddard School for a year. We are so glad we did! Ms. Kim & Ms. Aysia were amazing teachers! He started kindergarten knowing his numbers, letters and how to write them. He is beginning to read and he also has great social skills. He learned about personal space and keeping his hands to himself, listening & following instructions. The directors are fantastic too! They over communicate which we loved. The building is secure which gave us peace of mind and our son was able to grow in a healthy environment that encourages creativity and individualism.
