Stepping Stones was THE BEST choice we made while living on island. The staff were incredible & truly cared about our daughter and her growth. They were constantly tailoring their education goals to match each child’s needs. For the entire 2+ years that we were there, I never once worried about her safety, well being, or emotional needs. We loved Stepping Stones Academy! Our daughter Rogue was so at home here from day one. From her Teachers to Office Administration, she was known and loved by everyone! They had theme weeks, Halloween Trunk-or-Treat, water play, outdoor activities, crafts and so much more. We were so sad when the Army decided it as time for us to move on! We had the
BEST experience at this Stepping stone since we moved from California. The teachers are so loving, engaging and
attentive, and "gets" that children are individuals, each with their
own unique likes, dislikes, personalities, gifts and challenges. This is
a place that honors each child as an individual, lets them explore and develop
into their own selves. They definitely helped my daughter to have a smooth transition
to Hawaii.


Also Ms.
Kiran, the director, is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and passionate
about what she does. She was open and supported

My two sons go to Stepping Stones Academy and it is a pleasure to bring them everyday to a place that I know that they are safe and loved. The last few years have been so difficult and the staff have treated us with such kindness, sympathy, and patience as we became parents during the challenges of the pandemic. I think I have procrastinated writing this review until my daughter’s last day at Stepping Stones because it was so emotionally hard for me. They say it takes a village to raise a child, but some of us don’t have a village. As a single parent with no family here, the teachers that my daughter has had over the last four years have become like members of her family. And as a teacher myself, I know how much extra effort it takes to treat your students like they’re one of your own children, and all of the teachers at Stepping Stones did that for my child. There was no better feeling than knowing that every day when I went to work, she was happy and loved and learning and having fun. Stepping Stones is extremely accommodating and the staff are so helpful and worked well with my child. Upon entering the facility you are greeted by someone or assisted right away. My child truly enjoyed their time at Stepping Stones. She learned routines and was given opportunities to explore different topics. Stepping Stones sincerely stands out above other daycares and has the best trained staff you can trust! If you are a new mom like I was- do not think twice and get your child on their waitlist! As a teacher, and someone who has worked in childcare, I am very picky about where I will send my daughter when I am at work. First, the facility stands out for cleanliness. Most importantly: Every staff member from admin and front office: Ms. Carmen and Ms. Jan to the teachers in the infant class and toddler class: Ms. Justine and Ms. Kayla really do a wonderful job supporting children’s personal care needs, communication, emotional needs, and cognitive/academic development.
