Stepping Stones Academy

I loved Stepping Stones Academy because the staff were very helpful and caring towards my child’s education. They instilled good life long values and lessons that she will carry throughout her entire life. They also made it easy for us to transition her into a school routine which gave her structure. I would recommend them to anyone that I know looking for a good, calm, and collective school. The one thing I really appreciated most was the communication skills that they hold between teachers and parents. We were so lucky to have our son start at Stepping Stones when he was two months old, and since then he has had an amazing two and a half years progressing through the Infants, Toddlers, and Explorers classrooms.

The teachers have done a great job helping our son meet milestones and develop his verbal, motor, and social skills. Stepping Stones uses an age-appropriate curriculum that includes art projects, story time, playground fun, free play and much more. The school also brings in outside presenters on a variety of topics, such as music, yoga, and farm animals, just to name a few examples. We also love that our son is able to participate in Soccer Shots once a week, in which soccer coaches come to the school to lead the kids through drills and games.

Since earlier on in finding out we were pregnant my family had identified Stepping Stones as the place we hoped to send our baby daughter when the timing was right. Due to a number of different circumstances - including our own inexperience as first time parents - the timeline for when was the "right" time for us changed by a few months. Before we were even actually enrolled we really appreciated Stepping Stones being willing to work with us through our evolving needs. Once we did enroll, our daughter took quickly to her new teachers. Her fondness for them grew over time as demonstrated by many things like giant smiles at pickup every single day. Our daughter's clear happiness at Stepping Stones made all the childcare support throughout the past year such a gift. We are very sad to be moving, but so glad we got to have the time that we did! All three of my kids went to Stepping Stones. The staff and administration is great and easy to work and communicate with. They now have an app where the staff gives you updates on your child’s day as well as check in and out process. Would recommend them to any parent. Read more >

I have loved sending my daughter to Stepping Stones for the past 2 years. From tearful drop offs the staff has snuggled and gave her gentle encouragement. Until today she has turned into quite the confident artist and proudly shows me her writing and counting skills. They genuinely care for the kids and do creative learning activities everyday. I cannot thank the staff at Stepping Stones Academy enough for their dedication and hard work in helping me raise my son. From the moment I first walked through the doors, I knew that my child was in good hands. The staff members are incredibly friendly, nurturing, and attentive to the needs of each child in their care.

What I appreciate most about this daycare is the emphasis they place on child development. My son has grown and blossomed under their care, and I credit a lot of his progress to the wonderful teachers and caregivers who work with him every day. They have helped him learn important social skills, encouraged his natural curiosity, and challenged him to reach new milestones.

I would proudly recommend Stepping Stones Academy to parents who are looking to enroll their children in a knowledge filled, loving and safe environment. SSA has been one of three daycare facilities my child has attended due to relocations and I wish the other two had as caring staff as SSA. Communication was clear, my son was counting at age two, they kept me in the know on development, worked closely with me thru potty training and I never worried about his care or wellbeing as I knew he was in good hands.
