Stepping Stones Academy

Prior to Stepping Stones Academy we had enrolled our daughter, Emma, in a more expensive and well-known daycare facility but moved her to SSA right before she turned 2 after concerns over her safety and care at the former school. I am so happy that we found Stepping Stones because they have been such a God-send. From the loving and tireless teachers that keep us updated not just during our talks at drop off / pick up but also through parent-teacher conferences and “parent post”, their website and email system where we get daily photos and emails about what the kids did during the day, to the friendly administrative team that keeps everything running smoothly, my interactions with everyone has always been so helpful and pleasant. From field trips to places such as the pumpkin farm, zoo, and Dole plantation to weekly extra activities that come to the school such as Leahi Swim School,...

Best daycare on the island hands down!!

We love Stepping Stones! Our son is currently in one of the infant rooms in Aiea. His teachers are wonderful! I know he feels loved and safe with them and that security allows him to focus on learning and playing. The teachers plan great sensory activities and learning games each week and send us pictures of our son experiencing the activities. They are also great at communicating with us about anything going on with our son. I’m nervous about him leaving the infant room and moving to the one year old room but I am sure it will be just as great of an experience!

To totally sing the praises for Stepping Stones Academy and what it has meant for our family would take a tremendous amount of time.
My daughter started going to SSA when she was just a few months old until now almost 2. She was (and still is) loved and cared after as if she were family. We look forward to now speaking with her at the end of every day to discuss all the fun activities that was done.
My heartfelt thanks to Ms. Keesha, her lead teacher, for teaching our daughter so much this year and continuously being such a great role model and educator. We love the daily reports you take the time to complete as well as the great lesson plans! Not to mention the fun videos and art work! Mahalo to the assistant teachers- Ms. T, Ms. Stacia and Ms. Amanda for helping make her experience a great one!

Let’s talk cleanliness… SUPER important when working with children. This facility must be one of the cleanest preschools I’ve ever set foot in. Great organization and labeling!
I look forward looking around because the art on the walls change so frequently… I understand how much time that takes so it is very much appreciated!
All the teachers are so friendly and are never just standing or sitting around. I always see them interacting with the children. It’s very obvious that the children have created such a bond with them, and vice versa.

My son, Carter enrolled with SSA this past July. In the beginning it was hard but I have seen tremendous development and growth in my son! Carter is able to socialize with children his age. It’s exciting to see all the new things he’s learned in such a short period of time. His teachers, faculty and staff are terrific! I admire all the care they provide for my son and the childrmen around him. I love the ratio per class. I know my son is in good care when it comes to Stepping Stones Academy.

We love the professionalism and kindness of the teachers, the strength of the activities and curriculum, and the focused individual attention to the children. We are happy that the kids can participate in peripheral programs such as Soccer Shots, My Gym, swimming lessons, and field trips. This is the only place we've been since our child started at 1.5 and we couldn't envision being anywhere else. We look forward to being here until it's time to move to kindergarten.

My son skylar has been with stepping stones acdemy for 4 years, he will be graduating this year. Stepping stones acdemy has made a huge impact in my life. As a single mother, I look for the BEST for my son and this school has meet beyond my expectations. I am so thankful for ms.kiran and all the staff members, without them my son would not have the highest quality of care. The teachers are amazing, their dedication and love for each child has made me earn my trust that my son is in good hands. My son skylar has grown significantly with stepping stones acdemy especially with his education and vocabulary. Not only do they have fun at school, they learn. My daughter truely adores this school. She is in jrK and looks forward to going to school even on the weekends she asks to go to school. The teachers are amazing and they truely help in every aspect.
