Stepping Stones Academy

We love stepping stones academy because our son loves it. He has a great time everyday and comes home from school learning so many new things! The teachers and staff are very informative and keep you up to date with everything your child is doing and learning. I plan to keep my child here until grade school, there’s no place better.

I highly recommend Waipahu steppingstones. My daughter who started at 5 months old, they helped us through the whole beginning process on getting us into their Academy and welcomed us with much Aloha and passion in taking care of your child. The caregivers/ teachers were always doing activities with the children, and the area was always clean, uncluttered where a child couldn’t get hurt. All caregivers/teachers had a strong passion with working with my child and she always came in happy to be there to see them. They always kept in communication with me and sent me pictures of my daughter through the day. I very much felt like it was my daughters other family (Ohana) with the amount of love that was given to her. They not only do activities for this kids but they do family activities as well. I very much trust and appreciate stepping stones and recommend them with the highest.

Our daughter started at Stepping Stones Academy - Honolulu over a year ago and has been enjoying it very much. She likes her teachers in both classrooms and has made some good friends. The caring and loving staff here work hard together to provide a nurturing and encouraging environment for the children with well-designed, age-appropriate activities and effective guidance. We really appreciate the school's efforts in fostering children's socio-emotional development and in communicating with the parents effectively and efficiently. Thank you all very much!

We love Stepping Stones Academy because the teachers really care about the children. My 3 years old son has bad allergies but he's never had any problems at school. All the teachers try their best for their class. They provide many activies and various programs. My son has learned many new things almost everyday. Stepping Stones also takes many photos and emails daily on how much they eat and sleep which I really love. I highly recommend Stepping Stones Academy.

My two sons have both attended SSA. My oldest graduated with Ms. Arlene and Ms. Torey. He had such a great time and was really prepared academically when he went to Kindergarten. The weekly homework helped us reinforce what he was learning during the day. It was challenging enough but not overwhelming for him. Ms. Arlene and Ms. Torey were so nurturing and really supported him with his love for dinosaurs and Godzilla (not the usual for kids his age).

My younger son started with Ms. V in the Preschool class and is currently with Ms. Anca in Jr. Kindergarten. I've seen both my sons grow so much because of the loving environment all their teachers have provided. I'm so appreciative of how Ms. Anca takes the time to talk with us to let us know how our son is doing and what he's learning. The Stepping Stones Academy - Honolulu is great! Ms. Kiran and Ms. Sheryl accommodated our needs perfectly since we
moved to Hawaii in November. My daughter loves going there. Ms. Keesha and Ms. Keri were wonderful! They made sure Amanda adapted well among the other Explores, and sent me very detailed reports daily. Amanda has just moved to pre-school 1 and is very well adapted too. Everybody there is awesome and I can see how Amanda is improving! Thanks for everything!

Aria has been going to Stepping Stones Academy since two months old and is now seven months old. In that short time she has been exposed to many stimulating activities and to lots of love from the staff. Not only do the staff greet you each time you come through, but a handful of the older toddlers greet you with their cheerful smiles as well. I appreciate the efforts made to create a safe environment and the continual line of communication via SchoolVine. I especially appreciate the picture updates to see what Aria’s been up to. She seems to enjoy going to “school” and I hope it’s a signal of her interest in life long education...it’s never to early to start!

My experience with SSA has been wonderful! My son started with them before he turned 1 and stayed until he was 2 and half. We only left because of a job relocation to the mainland but if we stayed we definitely would’ve continued sending him to SSA.

When he first started we were at the Aiea location. That location is very convenient in regards to proximity to the exit and parking was never an issue. If anything trying to turn left out of the parking was difficult sometimes. Once the Waipahu location opened we transferred to there. It was a better commute to the Waipahu location in my situation coming from the Waipio area. Both are gated with a code so its very secure. Waipahu being a new building was very nice & update. Aiea was a little older but still very well kept and clean inside and out. They offer soccer shots & tumblebus so it was nice to give my son an...
