Stepping Stones Academy

We had such a great experience with Stepping Stones. The whole process of enrollment until our son left was very simple. The staff was always very friendly and caring! Our son was very happy there and we always felt like he is in a safe and clean environment. Communication with the teachers was always available. We highly recommend Stepping Stones and if it wasn’t for our relocation he would still be at the center. Thank you for caring and helping our baby boy grow :-) Aloha!!!

I loved Stepping Stones Academy, the teachers were so friendly and my son always looked like he was having fun! The pictures throughout the day really put my worry at ease because I’d always see what he was doing and I really liked the reports that were emailed of his day at the end of the day. My son even cried when saying goodbye today to all of his friends! We will miss you all!

I love Stepping Stones Academy for the love and support that they provide for my child. As a new parent one of my main concerns was if my child would be in a safe and caring environment that would allow for my child to learn and grow. And unless you're there with them, it's almost impossible to know if your child is receiving that care. Thankfully Stepping Stones has implemented steps in their program that inform us, the parents, on how they're caring for our children. Not only that, but they take the time to verbally communicate with us on a daily basis and ask for feedback from us as well on how things are at home. This gives me crucial feedback on what they're encountering during the day, and helps me to know that my child is being cared for, and is developing, in a safe and friendly environment. There’s no question in my mind that Stepping Stones (Halekauwila) has been the best place for my toddler daughter. Ms. Cheryl and Ms. T have been teaching my daughter for the past 4 months. It is unbelievable how much she is learning and the confidence she has gained! She has even learned some sign language to help her express what she likes, dislikes and what she wants. Ms. Kiran is very professional and helpful. The administrative team responds to questions very quickly. I feel my daughter is cared for and I know I can trust the teachers with her. I also love getting the daily updates and photos which makes my day every day! I highly recommend Stepping Stones!

Both of my kids started attending Stepping Stones in Kaka'ako after we moved to Honolulu. My daughter was in the Junior Kindergarten and my son is still attending the infant classroom. We absolutely love this pre-school. My daughter was in Ms. Anca's and Ms. Soo's class. They both made my daughter feel very welcome and she was able to get over her initial shyness and find friends very quickly. I was so grateful for that because my daughter never liked going to pre-school and used to cry at every drop off which was very frustrating. Now she wanted to go to school even on weekends! She also grew academically, overall we were very satisfied and our daughter was too. The infant class is the best in Honolulu in my opinion. It was recommended to us by a friend. My son attended since he was six months old. The teachers are really good and they asked us a lot of questions about our son and...

I love Stepping Stones because they are so friendly, thorough, and show an interest in your child. I love how we get daily updates. My daughter has learned so many new things from the few months she's been there. I know they are doing a great job because my daughter loves going to school to see her friends and teachers.

Great facility and mostly importantly greater stuff! All the teachers there are very caring. My son started in the infant class and now is in the toddler class, he is always happy. They always have different activities almost everyday. They also provide daily reports and photo so I know how my son’s day went. Teacher also takes time to talk about what’s going on during the day every time we pick up our son. Overall we are very happy with the academy and would recommend to anyone who’s looking for daycare for their little ones.

The facility is very clean and extremely well run. The staff is always very friendly and truly care for the children. We sent our oldest to stepping stones and loved it so much our second is currently attending. What we liked the most about stepping stones is that we always felt confident that our children would be safe while we are at work. We also liked the fact that the facility is not just a daycare but also has an educational curriculum is developmentally appropriate for each stage of the child’s growth.
