we absolutely love Ms. Anca who teaches the Pre-K classroom. her teaching style is very inventive and hands on. she truly cares about her students and is very passionate about their success. she is flexible in teaching and works with each students learning style. we have seen our son change so much since starting. he is learning so much everyday and we are so grateful for her compassion for her job! also we absolutely love her love for pictures and look forward to seeing them every night!

We moved to the island in December of 2019 and we were trying to find a preschool that had close to the same curriculum from our son's previous school. We found the stepping stone academy and took a tour and instantly knew this was the best place for him. He is in Ms. Ana's pre-k classroom and we absolutely love her teaching style! She is creative, interactive and is so passionate about her students and teaching. She has made our son's transition into her classroom seamless and has made us as parents feel we made the best decision for his school. We have seen our son blossom significantly since arrive to her classroom and he comes home everyday speaking about all the fun and educational activities they did that day. My son Ryden was 2 years old when he has the pleasure of being in Ms. Anca’s Explorers class. Everyday was a learning adventure as the children explored with: shapes, textures, colors, science, and learned how to be a good friend. The children didn’t realize that they were learning because she makes learning so much fun!
Ryden is now 4 years old and when I found out that Ryden was going to be in Ms. Anca’s Jr. Kindergarten class, I was filled with glee & excitement! Once again, Ms. Anca works her magic and the children have a blast while learning about different cultures, science, reading, music, writing, nature, yoga and public speaking during “Show & Tell”. The children are set up like a talk show with a microphone, backdrop and they even answer questions from their friends in the audience!

Stepping stones teachers goes the extra mile when it’s about taking care of my son. My sons loves the infant room and the all of the teachers. He always has a smile on his face when I drop him off.

After having my first child, I had to return to work just a few short months after his birth. I was a nervous wreck thinking of having to leave him with strangers. I am so so grateful that we found Stepping Stones Academy to help us all transition back into our work schedule! The director, Charlotte, is wonderful and so patient and kind with the kids. We toured the infant room and saw the older classrooms in the Waipahu location and she was so welcoming. I love that the classrooms have short walls so all the teachers can always see and communicate with each other. Every time I saw a diaper being changed I saw a very sanitary clean process and it made me feel very at ease with the cleanliness and organization of the facility. We had such a great experience with Stepping Stones. The whole process of enrollment until our son left was very simple. The staff was always very friendly and caring! Our son was very happy there and we always felt like he is in a safe and clean environment. Communication with the teachers was always available. We highly recommend Stepping Stones and if it wasn’t for our relocation he would still be at the center. Thank you for caring and helping our baby boy grow :-) Aloha!!!
