Stepping Stones Academy

Stepping Stones Waipahu has been nothing short of an amazing experience for our family. We want to give a huge shout-out to Julie, who consistently went above and beyond to help us secure a spot for our baby. Even with our last-minute request, she was incredibly accommodating, kind, and welcoming. She greets us by name every single drop-off and pick-up which is something truly impressive given how many families she supports daily.

We also want to express our deepest gratitude to Auntie Anna, who cared for our baby as if she were her own. Her warmth, patience, and genuine love gave us so much peace of mind as new parents. And to the entire infant team, we want to thank you for creating such a nurturing, safe, and joyful environment for our little one.

Our son has really enjoyed coming to Stepping Stones! He just started coming to this school a month ago and we have enjoyed seeing him happy and thriving. The structured classes allow for kids to grow and also allows parents to be part of their journey which is very nice and special. As parents we get to see every day photos of their activities as well as lessons learned which makes it a fantastic way to talk to them and engage at home about what they learned that day!

We sent our daughter to Stepping Stones Waipahu from infancy all the way through pre-k. She loved all her teachers and had a great experience. Our parental experience was also excellent. I always felt informed of what was going on in the center and always trusted our daughter was in safe hands.

Our family had both of our kids here for a total of 9 years. Appreciate the staff for taking good care of our keiki and helping them learn while they grow.

We are so grateful for our time at Stepping Stones Academy Waipahu. My son was enrolled here for a little over a year and he loved it! My favorite part of the day was receiving updates and pictures from the staff via the app. As a parent, it’s hard to leave your child in someone else’s hands, but the level of love and attention he received here made that transition so much easier.

Admin was also part of the positive experience. Ms Julie was always responsive, and accommodating, especially when our schedule and needs changed. Her communication and flexibility to our family is very much appreciated.

If you're a military family, I recommend using your childcare benefits on SSA Waipahu. Ms. Julie made sure all necessary forms were filled and turned in on time- she is very knowledgable on the whole process.

Amazing center, teachers, admin, environment and overall childcare. The educators and staff were incredible and nothing but helpful throughout our stay with them. We were sad to leave and wish we could've kept our baby there longer. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for childcare on island

The hardest part about moving out of state was knowing that our daughter would no longer be attending Stepping Stones. We have attended the Kakaako/Honolulu location since our daughter was 3 months old, and while it was extremely hard to go back to work and leave our child with strangers at first, the teachers and staff quickly put us at ease and treated our daughter like their own. Ms. Christie and Ms. Lei are wonderful in the infant room, and they took such good care of her. They also helped her with some big milestones. When she moved up to the toddler room, Ms. Sheryl and her other teachers were welcoming and supportive, and our daughter learned a lot. Most recently, she was in the explorer's classroom (2.5 years old), and she loved Ms. Sara, Ms. Ellie, and Ms. Amber, and I feel like she learned something new every day.
