Not very inviting, when we first walked in, noone to greet you. Had to walk over and bar to see if they were serving lunch. Waitress finally came, told us to seat ourselves. Atmosphere and service was great, food was terrible. Server was great and friendly. There was an acoustic cover singer there and was excellent and a great background sound. I ordered the clams for an app, they were good, some clams werent open. Had chicken pot pie for entree. It was cold when I got it. When it came back 3 min later is was so hot I couldn't eat it. When I finally did, it was so bland, it tasted like a can of soup with a really doughy pastry on top. It was. I'm assuming frozen cut chicken, with carrots in a canned gravy. My husband had onion rings that were good. Then he had the bangers and mash which tasted like instant mash potatoes with KFC gravey and the sausage tasted bland. All in all its definitely a pub with some food choices if you get hungry from drinking. The bar was packed when we were there. I dont plan on going back for a dinner. Read more >
