Seeds of Wonder Journey School

My son has attended SOWJS for the past year and a half and I just cannot say enough positive things about our experience. He is excited to go to school everyday. His teachers are calm, loving, responsive, and always encouraging. I love the water days that happen over the summer, and how much time the children spend outside in nature. The whole staff are big on promoting confidence, problem solving, friendships, and emotional literacy skills. I have a 4 year old who independently says “I feel [frustrated/sad/etc..]. I need some space” or “I need a hug” when he’s upset. There are grown adults I know who still don’t use regulation/coping skills like that! We are beyond blessed to be at SOWJS. ❤️

We started with SOWJS when my son was 18 months old. I was really nervous about transitioning to school, but the attentiveness and support of the staff was incredible. I love the individual time and care each child receives. It is truly a child-led program and each staff member goes above and beyond to foster each child's development.

So thankful that we found SOWJS and their amazing teachers. Our daughter is learning and growing in the best environment we could’ve hoped for. Highly recommend.

Seeds of Wonder Journey School has been my teaching home for the past three years. I joined the team because of the owner‘s and director’s vision. They strive to create a safe and caring learning environment where young children thrive. It is a small, progressive program that has grown each year.

The diverse, caring, and committed staff have work hard to create a Covid-safe, Reggio inspired environment. It is a developmentally appropriate, child-centered, play based program.

i wish this school existed when my children were younger!

Our daughters love preschool here! They have really developed as individuals. I love the child-led approach to learning, the small classrooms, and the focus on learning to be both a strong individual and a positive member of a community. It is evident that the school respects the child and the children respond wonderfully to this environment!

Seeds of Wonder Journey School has been my teaching home the past three years. I joined the team because of director, Hannah Williams’ and owner, Donna Aronson’s vision. They strive to create a safe and caring learning environment where young children thrive. The school is progressive, small and growing.

Hannah and the entire staff have worked diligently to keep Covid safety precautions in place.

The love they feel for their students is matched by their students’ joy and wonder while exploring their school environment. Seeds of Wonder Journey School is inspired by the Reggio approach, a developmentally appropriate, play based, child centered way of teaching and learning. I wish this school has existed when my children were younger.

Our family's experience with Seeds of Wonder Journey School has been absolutely wonderful. We were lucky enough to hear about this school from another parent and quickly felt right at home within the SOWJS community. The directors are remarkable and the teachers are exceptional! Both of our daughters fell in love with the school from day one. This school is a special place that prioritizes encouragement, individuality, compassion and confidence!

We have been with SOWJS for almost two years. I have seen so many beautiful changes & growth in my child. Her teachers have taught her to recognize & express her emotions in an effective manner. The children include each other in day to day play and treat one another with respect & love. The kids are given the freedom to learn though creative play. Our child's questions and ideas are nurtured and followed through to fruition. I can't say enough positive things about SOWJS. It has been such a blessing to our entire family. We feel so loved here!

Seeds of Wonder has been an amazing find for my son. The school has gone above and beyond to make him comfortable and provide him everything he needs. All the teachers are great, and put a lot of effort in getting to know each student.
