Seeds of Wonder Journey School

My son has been at Seeds of Wonder since May after transitioning out of a full time therapy program. Seeds of Wonder and its staff have been exceptional with flexibility and support, and have gone above and beyond to work with our family. The teachers, administrators, and all staff show true compassion and care for each child as an individual and their ability to guide the children to think creatively is wonderful. He’s happy to go to school every day and I’m happy to send him there knowing he will happy, safe, considered, and engaged. I highly recommend SOWJS!

Hannah and her team really care. They pay attention to every detail from making sure your child always has sunscreen applied and well rounded lunches and snacks, to knowing and being involved in the specifics of every child and family. There is lots of two way communication every day. Care and thoughtfulness come from the top and shows in every teacher. We will always love Seeds of Wonder.

The integration of art, sensory, and nature experiences is so conducive to learning experiences for my kids, and their joy for this learning is so apparent! Teachers act as partners with parents, and care deeply for the children. I'm so impressed and appreciative of Seeds both for their inclusivity and their excellence.

Working at SOWJS is a dream come true. It is a joy and a pleasure to invite families in to see the amazing things happening in our classrooms (indoor and out) all year long! Our loving, experienced, degreed teachers are true professionals who understand the deep connection between inquiry and play.

We absolutely love Seeds of Wonder. My son started when he was 18 months old, and he’s been going here a little over a year. We decided to go with SOWJS because the teachers (& entire staff) are genuinely kind and respectful with a deep knowledge base of how to work with and empower children of all ages.
There’s never any yelling or punitive punishment, only kind redirection and love. Our son loves getting to play outside many times throughout the day (rain or shine), make all kinds of age appropriate artwork, sensory play and gardening. They don’t use harsh chemicals when cleaning, and have small classes so our son gets enough attention at all times. Our family is not Jewish, and SOWJS creates an environment welcoming of all cultures/ backgrounds/ religions. Thank you, SOWJS!!

My son has attended SOWJS for the past year and a half and I just cannot say enough positive things about our experience. He is excited to go to school everyday. His teachers are calm, loving, responsive, and always encouraging. I love the water days that happen over the summer, and how much time the children spend outside in nature. The whole staff are big on promoting confidence, problem solving, friendships, and emotional literacy skills. I have a 4 year old who independently says “I feel [frustrated/sad/etc..]. I need some space” or “I need a hug” when he’s upset. There are grown adults I know who still don’t use regulation/coping skills like that! We are beyond blessed to be at SOWJS. ❤️

We started with SOWJS when my son was 18 months old. I was really nervous about transitioning to school, but the attentiveness and support of the staff was incredible. I love the individual time and care each child receives. It is truly a child-led program and each staff member goes above and beyond to foster each child's development.

So thankful that we found SOWJS and their amazing teachers. Our daughter is learning and growing in the best environment we could’ve hoped for. Highly recommend.
