SCUDO

Scudo have been managing my property for almost 5 years. We only had 2 tenants to date - 1 just late last year and another one just started. My comments:
1. I feel the cost per maintenance is excessive. I feel like they dont shop around for a cost effective vendor.
2. Tenant calls for something that is NOT a problem and yet Owner pays for the service call. I feel this should be the responsibility of the tenant should they call for something that is non-defective.
3. Previous tenant gave more than 2 months notice out of the goodness of their heart so I can find a new tenant right after they move out. Scudo never took advantage and never posted the listing for the house to try to minimize the gap of vacancy. I see houses that are up on listing with future date availability which is a sign of good property management being proactive in securing tenants.... Read more >

Scudo not only double charged us for move in fees and told us for 2 days that we were wrong and just didnt understand the breakdown - until we sent screen shots from our resident portal, Obligo, and our bank account. They also broke our lease because someone on their team listed the house for HUNDREDS of dollars less a month. We already moved over utilities and everything. Signed the lease. Had a move in day set up, for 2 weeks out! The worst and most traumatizing experience - thinking you have a home for you and your children to find out that a (HUGE) mistake on their part took that away suddenly. The property was beautiful on the inside but the outdoor maintenance and maintenance in general if fairly mediocre. The contractors left nails, spare parts, and all kinds of building utensils and products outside and in the property. There were boarded windows and things you’d think you wouldn’t have to ask to be done for the property to be move in ready. Majority of the items requested to be fixed during the inspection have not been completed and after two weeks a lot of the repairs/request still haven’t been made. Even as small as getting the air vent closed after changing a filter. Otherwise their home is beautiful and the new appliances and floor work have great appeal. Read more >

Angel and Claire are super nice and very helpful, this is a great leasing agency they’ve done nothing but provide me great service, everything was smooth and easy from leasing a house to maintenance to not being bothered as well. Best living situation I’ve ever had. Read more >
