I have had a terrible move-in experience. The one star is simply because the staff and all service providers have been very kind. That does not take away from the fact that I have had to badger the office/maintenance staff to get anything done. I reported urgent issues within days of moving in (no ability to change the temp in the house, no hot water in the shower, cloudy/unclean water, and a major leak in the basement) and not a single one of these issues was handled with any urgency whatsoever. I have only once received unprompted communication about these issues. Every other time I’ve heard anything was because I called and asked for follow up. For all I know, the 24 hour maintenance is a myth. I chose to rent (instead of buying) in hopes that I would still have owners and staff readily available to handle issues or make repairs but it seems I’m on my own for most of it. While...
