Bill’s experience, thoroughness and positive demeanor brought us through a very difficult time when we lost our mother and had to plan her wake and funeral. Everything went very smoothly and we would highly recommend Saunders-Dwyer to our family and friends in the future.

I googled a funeral place in New Bedford for my mom and I found a few places but Bill from Saunders funeral home called me back with so much compassion and professionalism i went with them. Every details were simply explained and he was there for us from beginning to end. Seriously I highly recommend them specially if it’s your first time going through this. And I still have questions even after my mom was cremated and he still there to answer questions. Thank you again Bill and family (because it’s a family business).

My experience with Saunders-Dwyer Funeral home was absolutely amazing. The knowledge and experience that Bill has prepared us for everything that would eventually occur and allowed for a stress free process as we dealt with our loss. Hew as very responsive, communicated very clearly and was always just a phone call away (even if you call 5x a day!). The service was absolutely beautiful and an amazing tribute to our lost loved one.

Is not easy for anyone to write a review after your beloved ones passed on to the next life. But, Will and his family made sure he did what he could to make sure the day was much easier and less stressful for our family. Will was very attentive and very respectful on all requests. Saunders is a very professional funeral home, with wonderful people, who feel your pain from the moment you walk into their beautiful parlors. I went to Saunders with a broken heart after the loss of my wife Madelyn, their assistance in helping our family pick various funeral requirements, getting the obituary completed and printed the next day online and in the local papers, , preparing us for the wake and funeral service, making suggestions to assist us in getting thru these sad times, and always being there for us, even after completion of their services. I would recommend Saunders - Dwyer to anyone looking for outstanding, compassionate and knowledgeble professionals to help anyone getting thru the days prior to and after the loss of a loved one.

I can't say enough good things about working with Saunders-Dwyer Funeral Home. Sadly, we had the need for their services for two family members who passed away 6 weeks apart. In both situations the service we received from everyone involved was kind, professional and sympathetic. This was an exceptionally stressful period for our family, and Saunders-Dwyer did everything they could to help manage things. Bill is so knowledgable about all aspects of the industry; he explained things well and gave us a good sense of what to expect so we could be prepared.
