RTD Ice Dam Removal

Great at removing ice dams! We had a huge ice dam hanging over our neighbors broken down car. They managed to remove both ice dams, fast professional with no problems. And they didnt mind my kids taking a video of the whole process. :)

2 guys showed up, only one guy at a time worked. Never took the steamer out of the truck. Removed no ice dams only snow, and made sure to take over an hour. Brain surgeons don’t come close to this kind of hourly rate (maybe a union plumber does). $600 dollars an hour to pull snow off an RV...come on!?!

While the ice dam removal was done well, the price was exorbitant ($4k and spend 7 hours at my small house). I'll never recommend anyone use this service given the price.

You guys did a great job clearing out some major ice dams. My only concern was the amount of time it took. A lot of time was spent shoveling and removing snow from the ground. Since you bill by the hour, there really isn't an advantage for your crews to work quickly.

I admired the guys for being true daredevils. I had a very high house with a whole Lotta ice and the ladder set up I thought was terribly inefficient. It took them 12 hours. The charge was over $7000. Once they were half through I figured they had to finish the job so I gave them the OK to keep going. I had another house steamed the next week and those guys had a bucket, which made it so much more efficient. My final word is that your guys did a fine job, and I was glad to have it done, but next time I will definitely shop around for a better price. Thanks for asking for my comments.

You were efficient. Showed when you said you would. Job was complete and clean up satisfactory. The fees are outrageously expensive. I know it’s a dangerous and time consuming job. But you are raping the consumer.
