We called Paul on a Sunday and he arrived for the appraisal the next morning and had it completed in the afternoon. Very efficient, yet thorough.

On time, asked questions regarding the property to get a good understanding of it. I would refer him to all my clients who would like an appraisal.

Have a parcel of land in Cook County, IL which the Assessor’s office had overvalue for the tax purposes. I needed a quick and detailed appraisal for the tax appeal. Called the Rowe Appraisal and left a message. Paul Called back promptly, we discussed the scope of the work and agreed on a price for an appraisal which did not include visiting the site and taking pictures. After few hours Paul called back and informed me that after much research he felt that a visit to the site was necessary to produce a sound appraisal based on the professional standards and he was not going to charge me the $100 which was for the visiting the site and taking pictures.
I got the Appraisal within 24 hours with descriptive pictures showing the topography and the flaws of the parcel. The service was fast, price was reasonable, and Paul was very professional in his work. I highly recommend him. 7/3/2018

Very disappointed. We chose to use 4 different appraisal groups for our home evaluation. This is obviously not typical, but we were more interested in finding a very accurate price average for our attorney. Rowe came in $150,000 below the other three who were pricing the property between $925,000 to $955,000. I felt this was very odd to have one so far off basis and wanted to find out if any real effort was put forth after the money was collected from me. I called to speak to the owner Paul, but he wouldn't talk to me, instead I was told to call Ray. I received an inadequate answer and I am still perplexed how one group was so far off from the other three. Needless to say we aren't bothering to use this estimate. This group was unfortunately a waste of money.
