Robyn Monahan’s reply to my review comes after being sued in Palm Beach County. The statements in her reply are a choreographed response to attempt to bolster her false account of this miserable experience. She is a big talker, but produced nothing of value. Contrary to her backpedaling fabrication, at no time did I ever utilize her design for a small urban condominium for use in a large single family country home. This claim is delusional. In fact, she was informed that my new home needed no renovations and her services (in another state) would not be required. Her claims are easily refuted by email correspondence memorializing my termination of her services and multiple requests...

My husband and I worked with Robyn for over a year doing a complete renovation of our family room/entertainment area. Her talent for design was such an asset to us, as we lack much creativity ourselves. Her eye for detail while also listening to our wants/desires was spot on. Even down to recommending a circular coffee table as opposed to anything with sharp edges being mindful of our little toddler's safety.

The renovation was tedious at times and, of course, there were some kinks throughout the process, but every big project will have some bumps along the way. Robyn went above and beyond to rectify any issues we encountered throughout this project and made right on any issues that arose.

We would hire her again in a heartbeat to help us with future household changes as we are so pleased with our lovely new living space that she helped create with us!

Engaged Ms. Monahan to work on my condo on 10.25.23. Gave her, as requested, $25,000.00 as a deposit on 11.17.23. Work began on 11.28.23. By 12.17.23 I terminated our agreement. All along the way I questioned her pricing. Only two services were completed totaling $10,000.00. She has not given me an accounting as to where the rest of the $25,000 went nor will she issue a refund. No other services were completed and no supplies were ordered or approved. I hired Ms. Monahan to act as a general contractor and now I believe that she is not licensed to act in that capacity only as an interior designer. I would be agreeable to negotiate with Ms. Monahan but she has refused. She has said “please don’t bother me again”. As another reviewer indicated that this is the definition of theft. We love Robyn Monahon Interiors, she is a fabulous decorator, very pleasant and easy to work with. She cares about the style of her clients and will work with them to make their homes look designer beautiful yet reflect their individual style and coordinated color choices. She will listen to you, and make what you love even better.
