Is there anything to add to the consistently positive reviews of the R and V C, its support staff and especially of Dr. Coussa? My recent visit
caused me to evaluate my year and a half of experiences. I have concluded that loss of vision.— for whatever cause— Is an undervalued and misunderstood affliction.(“ It’s just her/his eyes” kind of thinking.) A waiting room perspective yields a very different view. There we sit- and wait-In various poses of dependency—on walking sticks, on walkers, on others, some of us bent over in retinal piety. A group picture would not suggest a Modeling Agency. We are so relieved to be with our Doctor who is as engaged and physically fit early in the day as he is at a later appointment. He treats our. “Unfit” eyes with touching compassion. He understands our loss. He gives us hope.
