Dr. Shaw was very good.

Dr. Shaw is great. I have been seeing him approximately every 5 weeks for well over a year and he is always so very caring and nice. He listens to my concerns and explains things in a way I can inderstand. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Shaw as my retina doctor.

Since I have been taking the injections I don't appear to have any progression of the atrophy. However I believe there are changes in my refraction but my ophthalmologist, Dr. Bennet said a new prescription would make no change. also, when staring at a blank area after a few seconds I see a speckled texture over the entire surface.

The clinic is efficient, friendly, and professional. My next -day call regarding a “floater” was answered quickly and politely, and as they noted, it was gone the following day,

It was comforting to receive the news that although I do have a valve problem, it’s not an emergency and can probably be handled without major open heart surgery. In 6 months I will go back for tests to see if it’s time to deal with it.
