Eighteen months ago I was diagnosed with WMD. At the time of diagnosis I had no clear vision in one eye and was unable to read anything with the bad eye making every day tasks like driving and working on a computer very difficult. I was crushed as I was just 54 years old. Fast forward to today, 8 injections later and I have regained all of my vision and have virtually zero effects from the WMD. I am very certain that I am on the extreme end of the success spectrum probably due to early diagnosis and that expectations need to be realistic however I am now able to discontinue the injections with exams every 4 months.
