My father passed away recently and I was suddenly thrown into a position of his after care without any warning or notice.I’m also all the way in California so this was an added obstacle,I must have called a dozen funeral homes trying to make arrangements and most of them felt like a business transaction with little empathy.Red mountains staff were informative and have kept me updated every step of the way which is amazing since my situation had a lot of strange details.It felt very similar to having family help you, it’s been comforting and I have felt very eased by this which made room for more grieving and less stress.This is the first time I’ve ever had to take lead when someone has passed away and they have really made this experience a lot less painful.If you’re reading reviews to find a home for end of life care I highly recommend Red Mountain. Can't say enough about this place. During this very difficult time, funeral director Darren was a blessing. My father was an army veteran during Vietnam. Darren gathered his information and made all the necessary arrangements for our family.
