Residential Assisted Living Academy

We attended the RALA event in Phoenix this past October. We were interested in getting into the residential assisted living business but had no idea how to go about it. The 2 day event was very informative, brought in lots of vendors, and was well planned. We bought the home course and I am in the process of finishing the modules. This is an excellent alternative to the facility living offered by many of the nursing homes.
Nothing better than keeping our parents in a home which they grew up in rather than a hospital type of environment with pages being sent throughout the building disturbing the residents and nurses running from room to room interrupting sleep and other activities. Read more >

My son and I attended the 3 day event in Phoenix and had a wonderful experience. I have also completed the Home Study course, and also joined the Inner Circle as a Platinum member. To say the least, it has been an uplifting and encouraging experience for me. When I hit a rough spot, I get the support that I need. When I need guidance, I can get it. Gene and the RALA team are very special people. They have a wealth of generosity, connections, and instructions for new folks like my son and I. My husband is a investor and residential contractor and he took Gene's RAL class in December of 2017. The class was very detailed and informative. He then encouraged me to take the class in March of 2018. Gene not only tells you what to do to be successful but, he also shows you what it should look like on the bus tour to ALS houses in Arizona. We did exactly what he said and took advantage of the business and financial suite tools that he created. In September of 2018 we broke ground on our first state of the art level 6 house with 12 bedroom and 6,600 sf in the house. We are right across the street from a big box facility "Brookdale" and 1 block away from an elementary school as Gene suggested. I have attended both the 3 day training and the online training. Both are great! I have met almost every staff member at the RAL Academy and Gene personally several times. They are an amazing staff and Gene is very a humble man and a great teacher. Everyone wants to see you succeed and challenge you every step of the way. The training gives you the knowledge and confidence to start your own assisted living. I highly recommend the academy! If you are considering attending, stop thinking about it and just go!
