Not sure if it was an "off day" but I was disappointed with the response from the call (Alex?). I was looking into repair services and he immediately said that he's not wasting time on $1000 jobs and that he is seeking larger jobs that don't waste his time. He also said that small fixes for an old pool is useless and that I mind as well do a full renovation. I asked how he could assess the pool if he hasn't even spent the time to take a look in-person to provide a proposal.
It's challenging to place trust into a contractor if it's not a referral and his first impression left me not wanting to work with him. Can you image if he wasn't patient on a call what would happen on a project that had unexpected issues? Would he be impatient in explaining things or have the patience to even run the project?
